The Water Tower Inn - BW Premier Collection

This is indeed "a resort for the price of a room" - pool area is amazing (love the outdoor hot tub) and the Casey's onsite has very good food and service. Friendly staff, ample parking, clean and comfortable rooms. We had a pet friendly room and it was lovely with lots of treats for the doggo. The rooms didn't have microwaves but there was one in the business centre area so that was very convenient.

Breakfast (Starbucks) a little expensive, even for Starbucks. The Thursday night live music in Casey's was excessively loud. Like really ridiculously loud. That's about it.

Quick and friendly check in with clear communication. Parking was as you come which was honestly perfectly fine for us! We had dinner in Casey’s where the food and drinks were 10/10 and the service was exceptional. The rooms check all the boxes in regards to good quality, spacious and clean room. Also the searchmont ski hill is a quick 30/40 minute drive from the hotel and that was ideal.

Perhaps the walls are quite thin, when you walk in the hallway you can hear other peoples music etc which is fine. Until it’s 3/4 and you can hear the persons conversations word for word on both sides of your room. In the hotels defence it was New Years Eve so I presume many guests were partying and up late. I will say I have stayed here before and although the walls are thin in my opinion usually everyone abides by the noise contract you sign when you check in.

We were there for New Year's Eve. Had dinner there and breakfast on New Year's Day, the food was excellent. Loved the outdoor hot tub, sauna etc and the fact it was open early before it got crowded.

Bar was closed for New Year's Eve party which cost extra so we couldn't meet friends there. Wheelchair accessible room could use another bed or cot so person with wheelchair and attendant don't have to share a bed. System for dinner/breakfast coupons was confusing; we were given coupons when we requested them but the cost was added to our bill which seemed pointless.

My family and I really enjoyed the pool area and were very impressed with how big and the fact that we could the hot tub that was outside. Our room was a decent size for the three of us but I do think that four or more would make it feel very tight. The rooms were smaller than what we were expecting.

Overall there wasn’t anything that I would change about the place . The room size was small but it’s a hotel room and not a place to live for ever.

The stay was most accommodating..staff were very welcoming..my sisters were delighted that animals were allowed to stay..it encouraged them to come back and not worry about leaving their pers behind..More than one smoking area and very relaxing common areas.. Service as well at Starbucks was again very accommodating and friendly...We will be staying here in all our future visits..Thank you so much for your excellent, friendly service😊

I loved everything about this place. Especially the outdoor hot tub and pools. Absolutely beautiful giving off a vibe with the palm trees etc ... The front desk were amazing and friendly and fast check-in. Even the cleaning ladies were very kind and asked how you were doing with a smile. I liked that there was a bar attached with live entertainment as well as a restaurant. Amazing overall!

Nothing. Everything was great.

On my arrival we realized I had booked for the wrong dates and had actually should have checked in the night before. I was traveling alone with 5 grandkids!! and had been on the road for 2 days already. Bennie at the front desk went well above her duties to help me keep a grip on my mental state and found rooms for us. She is a priceless gem at this location and I hope is rewarded accordingly.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and always said hello whenever we passed the reception desk. We’d booked a suite but when we arrived they said there were some problems with the room and so they gave us a free upgrade to the best suite in the hotel. Such a lovely thing to receive after a long day of driving. The comfort and cleanliness of the hotel could not have been better and the location is perfect for getting downtown or to highway 17 - turn right on leaving the car park and just keep driving to get to the Lake Superior parks, beaches and waterfalls etc.

Our stay ended on the day Ontario entered Stage 3 of the re-opening and so we were unable to use the pool/spa facilities and there was only breakfast dining on that last day so we went out for breakfast most days - we recommend The Breakfast Pig for a tremendous all-day breakfast experience far superior to the breakfast chain restaurants. Also, the local Scotts cafe across the road is excellent for espresso coffee and a limited range of tasty baked goods and sandwiches. It is disappointing that such a great hotel has chosen to partner with “Caseys” for its in-house dining. So you can get perfectly acceptable but bog standard pizza, burgers etc but no fine dining. For that we recommend the restaurant in Quattro hotel a short distance down the road which has a really good and varied menu.

Did not have breakfast at the hotel but had dinner, the place is just spectacular and close to everything. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Everyone at the front desk were very welcoming, actually the whole staff made the journey worthwhile . The spa area was clean and beautiful. I am so glad we chose to stay at this hotel, would do it again,

I was surprised front desk couldn’t help me out for directions or information to Mackinac Island I worked in the hotels in Niagara an we always helped an did whatever to help unfortunately the water tower didn’t 👎 other then that it was good
