Comfort Inn Simcoe

Just like having one's comfort food...staying in Comfort Inn hotel gave us the peace of mind and comfort that we could always count on. It was really convenient for our family to have been given a room that is easily accessible to our parked car! We also loved our comfy and clean beds! The breakfast though was just 'Grab & Go' was good and filling. Check in and check out was easy. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you :)

Called the afternoon before to request for an hour early check in, the staff who answered I think needs a bit more friendliness or customer service even though he's giving a not-so-good news, a bit more empathy would come a long way :) But the staff in the morning was more accommodating and pleasant.

I have severe peanut, tree nut and fish allergies. So I am always happy when I can have cereal, yogurt, fruit and not worry about having a reaction. Greatly appreciated. Makes my travelling so much easier and less stressing.

The internet did not work in my room. Unfortunately, the power was out yesterday morning ( not your fault), so that was a little extra difficult getting ready to leave early. I found the air stale in the hotel. Needs to be aired out. My allergies were bothering because of this.

Quiet. Comfortable. Friendly staff. Nice backyard property with a grill and picnic tables. Hot breakfast.

Very strong cleaning/fragrance smell in the room and no elevators to the second floor. If they offer you an upgrade just realize it will be on the second floor with no elevators. We opted to stay on the first floor, and they accommodated us. Dinky pillows!

The hotel is great! On the same street there is a restaurant, market and pharmacy. Close to Port Dover Beach and Turkey Point. The rooms are comfortable, the bed is wonderful and the cleaning service is also very good. They serve breakfast and all the staff is kind. Behind the hotel there is a very beautiful green space. I would certainly go back.

The breakfasts could have been better. I had 3 breakfasts. All were the same. Healthier options should have been made available such as fruit or cereal. Also vegetarian or vegan options. I don’t eat meat or dairy. I don’t smoke but noticed others did and an over abundance of cigarette butts were visible around the outside of the property (under the trees). Didn’t give a good first impression:(

I loved loved loved the fact that I could back my truck up to our room which was on the ground floor and be able to go out the sliding glass doors and made it much easier for my mom

I brought my disabled mother with me the staff were wonderful to deal with we came because my mom after 68 years was going to meet her sister be reunited they were both adopted the staff was excellent and giving me directions around the town as well as a route to the Indian reserve the beg breakfast was to be desired I am allergic to egg so there was really nothing I could have it was a muffin and a croissant I couldn't have either I did enjoy it a cup of Fruit and the grapefruit juice other than that it was an exceptional stay I'm returning again in November for two nights and I plan to come again in January

The location of our room how we had back door access to our car to bring our bags in and out without having to go around to the front door. Front desk lady was fantastic with me when I called at 3am looking for Shampoo.

I'm scared of Spiders and I found a huge one in the bathroom but that was such a small detail it wasn't anyones fault except for natures :)

I loved the breakfast. The staff working in the kitchen was super friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, and the washroom was very clean.

The guy at the front desk when I checked in was helpful, but he could have been more welcoming. Feeling welcome is so inviting that it makes it easier to come back. The food and the room made up for that.

Large comfortable room. Convenient to many restaurants and shopping. Many choices for TV channels. We were able to change to a ground level room at no extra cost.

There were a lot of pillows but they were to short. The breakfast room run out of milk on one occasion.

Breakfast was excellent....made better by Charmaine! She was so warm and attentive. Staff was very helpful.

TV remote had run out of battery and the front desk receptionist had to attend to it twice to get the TV to work.
