Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham - Timmins

The housekeeping staff were excellent and checked in with you daily on if you needed anything. All the staff were kind and you could see them trying to keep everything orderly and clean. Very impressed with my stay! Also, I love the shampoo and conditioner+soap brand they use. Hair felt amazing and that is a rarity with my hotel stays mostly.

Had a neighbour that was loud with music for one night (but well into the night (midnight)) and nothing was really done about it when front desk was called to contact the room to shut it down.

Lobby and rooms were clean and in great condition. Breakfast was great. Beds were very comfy.

The pool and hot tub area needed to be cleaned. Some grim floating in hot tub. Parking lot needed to be sanded or salted. My daughter fell getting out of truck and hurt herself. When we told the staff about it, they said they don’t do that. I was not understanding even if subcontracted. Call them and get them to sand it. I also found that 1 elevator wasn’t enough. Waiting often on it.

The breakfast was fine

safety around the building lacked as my daughter's wallet was stolen from her vehicle despite the fact that a camera was pointed in that direction. Live screening and video taping should be considered. Had the front desk person being monitoring the video as this person was going around checking the doors on the cars in the parking lot may have been able to avoid the theft

I would have loved real cream for the coffee in the breakfast room. But the food was awesome. All staff I encountered were wonderful. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I will book here again when in Timmins.

I would have liked a coffee maker for my room, but as it was a single room, no coffee maker. Just because I am alone doesn't mean I don't want to make a coffee before the breakfast is available.. But I asked about it nicely and was provided with one for my room, which I appreciate... There were some VERY noisy people coming in late Saturday night, stomping, and jumping in the hall...seriously! I know it sounds ridiculous, but it's true. It happened over several hours in the middle of the night. But once they got in their rooms, I could not hear them. No fault of the hotel at all, and it was not worth calling down to report it, I just tried to go back to sleep.

pretty much everything but the prices at the bar u need to change that besides that was awesome

lower the prices at the bar 45 bucks for 2 drinks is retarted and disgustion if u went to a normal bar double rye and pepsi is 12 bucks and a taqulia rose double shot is same price your taken advanatge of people with those prices its wrong and sicking 45 bucks for 2 drinks is retarted u need to lower them like bar prices and that your taken advanatge of people with those prices and its wrong also fix the hot tub

The location is good but there should be fluorescent posts or something at the entrance so that we know that we are turning in the entrance and not in the ditch in the dark

No TV channel guide.the channels are not the same in every city. Only one chair in the room. We were afraid to order pizza and have to eat that on the bed and stain the white linen.

The room was super clean thank goodness. The beds were so comfy. A little dated - but very clean and I will book it again

No usb plug ins for charging- simple update with an alarm clock that has plug in charging would be great. Get rid of mirrors over bed.

As per situation, breakfast was really enjoyable. Secondly, the service was excellent. It would not justice if I could ignore the receptionist, Manpreet, she was extraordinary and I felt great respect by having her there. She is real professional. Dhe knows how to solve the problems being a cx service/ receptionist. I gave her 10/10. The overall was excellent.

Improvements always is the need of time.

The room was spacious and comfortable. I liked that you could request extra toiletries if you forgot something e.g. a shaver, or toothbrush, toothpaste etc. The receptionist was welcoming and warm to us.

Our stay was short there wasn't anything that we didn't like. The room was clean, the tv had a good channel selections. It was all good!

The night clerk was extremely helpful we forgot our cell phone charger and he dug through ones that were left over and was kind enough to lend one to us for the evening that saved us a lot of stress and very much appreciated the extra effort that he put into it
