Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu

Wonderful views of the river from the hotel room and the outdoor area behind the hotel. The property had a beautiful pool, hiking trails and the room was comfortable. I appreciated the daily housekeeping. Staff was gracious and helpful. The location was a short drive into town or you could take a slightly longer walk. The photograph is a nearby Port (short walk downhill). Two national parks are within 45 min, you can take a scenic drive to Taddousac (whale watching) or visit Baie St Paul 45 min away.

The parking was inconvenient. A large lot close to the building was closed. We ate there twice and the food was mediocre and expensive; however there are nice options for casual and more formal meals within a 5 min drive.

Exceptional facilities, environment, view and heated pools, no complaints there. Local restaurant St Hubert, across the way with available take out, Casino and underground parking garage at $12. per day. Very comfortable King size room with front river view, and Nespresso coffee machine, superb. Close to La Malbaie town, small port, pier and Cafe de la Gare restaurant. Free electric car charging for four hours. but you have to ask.

So called free parking P7 almost one km walk, uphill, not great for handicapped people or with health problems. Valet parking service charges at $39. daily!! Restaurants and food fair and expensive. Many heated pools but very crowded in July-August. Bath robes available but you must ask.

The hotel is very grand with a lot of gilded age charm. The pools and locker rooms are fantastic. Rooms are comfortable and the staff was wonderful. Beautiful views.

The restaurant situation needs some revision. Food is overpriced and very average. We stay in a lot of nice hotels and 40/ per person for a breakfast buffet is a bit on the exorbitant side.

Lovely clean rooms with large windows overlooking the St. Lawrence. The property maintains a feeling of luxury with lots of amenities and activities: golf, pickle ball, the casino, pools, spa, walking trails, etc. The staff at the reception and concierge are super helpful and gracious.

They charge you for everything, and it isn’t cheap!

This is my second time at the hotel. It is beautifully located. Property is stunning. Views are beautiful.

The casino was closed and we were not informed! We were bombarded by emails regarding an electronic key for check ins but no-one bothered to inform us about the casino workers strike. We could have rescheduled!

really nice place the pools were nice and definitely made a difference especially this time of year. The outside fire pits was a nice touch.. the lighting outside makes for nice ambience for a night walk robes in rooms

The building, the decor, the dining room, the bar all very special in a spectacular location. We loved staying in this historic hotel.

The food was not as good as I expected. The menu was fine and a bit innovative but it seemed their second tier chef was in charge. Good but not excellent.

The only thing we didn’t like was the fact that the entrance to the hotel did not have an awning to prevent guests, unloading their suitcases from their vehicles, from getting soaked from the rain in the summer and snow in the winter.

Grand old hotel right on the water overlooking the St Lawrence, room was small but fine for a one night stay. The multiple pools and hot tubs (indoor and outdoor) were the highlight of the hotel. Pricey for the size of the room.

Valet service didn't even ask if they could help when we pulled up, we (as well as the other two vehicles that were unloading) were basically on our own.

Beautiful location and luxurious hotel for a reasonable price. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Great indoor and outdoor pools. Really convenient and well-equipped gym. Comfortable rooms.

Beds were a bit small for a family of 4. Shower was slow to drain.
