Hôtel Saint-Germain Rimouski

Excellent location with secure on-site parking; extremely comfortable bed with strong reading light for both sides of the bed; loved the full kitchen as we had a chance to cook our own dinner after too many restaurant meals in a row; beautiful view of the St Lawrence out our window

Lighting in the halls was very dim; no light over the dining table; I wished for a few more kitchen items such as a cookie sheet, pie / pizza server. (Most people would be heating up a meat pie or pizza, thus the cookie sheet). These are small things that would really make this place completely perfect.

Very comfortable and spacious room with a small kitchen.. Right downtown and our room on the 5th floor had a great view of the water. Lots of good restaurants around. They had an elevator so no hauling luggage up stairs. A very modern hotel at a good price.

The parking area and the entrance reminded me of an old beer parlour from the 1960s! It gets much better as you get inside. Lots of construction in the hotel however no noise bothered us in the room. Other rates from other sources included breakfast delivered to your room but ours was extra at 9.00 per person.

The room was large and well equipped, including a full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave and coffee maker. The washroom was very modern with a fantastic shower with multiple jets. Staff was courteous and helpful. As others have said, don't judge this hotel by the exterior, the rooms are much nicer than it appears from the outside.

We found the heating / cooling system a bit confusing, instructions on the controls would have been useful. Contrary to what others have said, we didn't feel like the breakfast was a good value, even if it does come in a treasure chest.

Very nice hotel, large clean, beautiful and comfortable room. The hotel is located near the main street with all the restaurants and the wonderful sidewalk by the water. Environmentally friendly hotel, love it! Also liked that there was no carpet in my room (wood floor).

The room was huge. How many of us ever get to have a great view with an electronic curtain? The Nespresso machine was Awesome as was the shower and pop up plugs.

there were a few weird things, but really don’t want to complain because it’s just not worthwhile the time. I don’t want to lower their rating

The view from the room is amazing, if you can get over an old downtown building and an ugly parking lot, the rooms are incredible. We also had maid service daily that many hotels are not providing now.

The hot water was unreliable and the thermostat ac control is not intuitive, the view and location made up for they

The staff are gentle and super friendly. The bedroom was renovated, perfectly clean, the shower was great!! Nice views and great atmosphere Kudos to reception staff Houssine, handled a card situation and was a joy to interact with. He made my journey more fantastic with his customers focus and going above and beyond.

The quality of the continental breakfast, the welcoming of staff and the central location.

The right side of the bed was too soft; the administration apologized and promised to check up on it.

The location was very advantageous, the staff members were very kind and polite, and provided quite a lot of help.

Our stay was AMAZING! We have travelled many places and stayed in many hotels. We got the big suite and it was great. We booked on our way to Gaspé region and ended up going back a few days later to stay agaças we loved our stay there. We loved everything about the hotel. They have great attention to detail. From the coffee machine, treats in the fridge, beautiful bath robes, the amazing bathroom and shower and the great breakfast delivered to your room in a treasure box. If your in the area I definitely recommend this place. We will be back soon just to enjoy the space! Thank you St-Germain!
