Everything, I mean, EVERYTHING in this hotel is well beyond our expectations. The owner and all the staff are more than warm hearted and welcoming: they even carried out luggage upstairs, knowing climbing stairs itself might be challenging enough for us who just landed on the plateau. The room, with all facilities and supplies one would expect in a modern hotel, is very comfy and spotlessly clean. Tibetan-styled decorations everywhere make the hotel more like a warm home of a local friend than a place where someone stays overnight on a business trip. Besides, the location of this hotel is great: while it hides in a small alley of the charming old town, it takes not even 5 minutes to walk to a bus station at a main street of the city. The Johkang Temple is also easily reachable by foot. Would definitely come back here if I visit Lhasa again.
Payment with a credit card has an extra transaction fee (4% of the price) and might be prone to communication errors. Not the hotel's fault but still a pity.

Location and helpful staff. Hotel is located off the Main Street. Staff came to help us with our luggage We had difficulties with picking a place where to eat as well as language barrier. Staff recommended a restaurant, accompanying us to the place, help us through security checkpoint. She ordered for us at the restaurant and only left after we placed our order, making sure that we were ok. What a lovely and thoughtful lady!!!

Thank you very much to the boss for taking care of me and my family. They are clean, comfortable, and decorated with a local atmosphere. Although in the alley, it is very easy to find it by following the navigation, and it is very close to the main scenic spots around it, which is very convenient. The cafeteria on the roof can overlook the Potala Palace.

Great location, nice house and very friendly and helpful staff. Really a great place to stay. Only thing is that you cannot reach by car, so need to carry luggage back and forth, but that is ok
