The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin

It is a beautiful hotel located right in the center of the city. We have chosen it because we want to experience a Ritz stay in China. We are not disappointed. The hotel building itself is superb and historical. All details are taken care of, from the luxurious lobby to the rooms. The staff are highly amiable and ready to help at any time. The breakfast is the best we've had during our stay in China.

Maybe the hotel can use a bit more air freshener to make the rooms smell fresher or air the room before the arrival of the guests. It's just a minor issue.

The suite was absolutely sensational, we’ll never stay anywhere so luxurious again! The club lounge incudes set times for every meal so no need to eat out. Excellent food. Club also included 2 clothing items to be ironed and taxi journeys within 3km. All staff did an excellent job at were very helpful. Location is fantastic and very central to the city, roughly a 15 minute taxi to the Tianjin Eye and Tianjin rail station. Wi-Fi speed.

Staff is very polite and friendly, highly well-trained. They kindly set some balloons and some lights in the room as they knew I was celebrating my marriage anniversary. They also offered a late check-out and we're very helpful at all time. The food provided was also wonderful. The hotel is very quiet and has a calm atmosphere, great for relaxing

As a foreigner I would like to see more bread variates during breakfast time. Yet it's just a very minor issue.

Booked for my elderly mum, celebrating her 80 birthday. Hotel arranged cake,present,noodle for her, very thoughtful. They showed ritz_carlton legend,they will do almost everything to make your stay a happy memory. Vctoria suite is spacious, clean,elegant and classy.Food are fantastic at the "香溢餐厅". Club services are great for anyone who wants something light. This hotel suits anyone at any age,including the elderly. Special thanks to Chris from concierge & Ms Zhou. Will recommend to everyone, will go again soon.

location is not the best. no big shopping malls nor coffees around within close distance.

Always excellent service alongside the hotel’s luxury and style. The breakfast is excellent.

The air con in the room wasn’t very effective, so a little warm in the night.

By far the best hotel experience to date. We booked for our wedding night and everything was great. Beautiful building and comfort, which is to be expected, but it was the small details and touches which made the stay so good. The hotel prepared our room with rose petals on the bed, gifted us a tray of chocolates in the afternoon, as well as providing us with gifts of relaxing tea bags and a bucket of ice whilst we had dinner. Pool was also stunning, with changing rooms of excellent quality. Area is also great, next to the river, with interesting architecture and F&B options within easy reach. Particularly recommend G2 if you want an interesting cocktail bar.

The room was beautiful, especially the bathroom. Big bath, TV behind the mirror, speakers in the ceiling. Great view and very quiet room.

Amazing experience. Very attentive staff, beautiful room, delicious meals. The staff have extremely high standards. Very clean room with lots of special touches. I couldn't have eaten any more if I'd tried! A stay to be remembered.

I loved the location of the Ritz-Carlton as close to the river, shops, restaurants and other places of interest. The hotel is positioned to easily walk around or hire a bike using Didi or Meituan Apps. I would happily stay again as I loved the atmosphere, friendly staff and comfort of my room and facilities.

Service is unmatched, with excellent staff, great bed and beautiful building.

Breakfast is just ok for western food. Selection is limited. Same for evening meal, limited selection, meat is good but not much else available. The meal is also expensive for what is on offer. Not great value. I think they used to have a wider selection.
