I liked the nature surrounding the place a lot. You can see monkeys and beautiful birds all day long. - The bed is very comfortable. - The size of the bedroom and the bathroom is very good. - The place is very pet friendly and you only need to pay a small fee to have your dog allowed. 10 Usd for a small dog. - The yoga teacher on Friday Morning was awesome, Catalina, I do yoga regularly and she is a fantastic teacher. - My parents almost never vacation and they were very pleased with everything.

- The breakfast could be better, the continental option. The tipico was fine.

This is a beautiful property surrounded by lush gardens. Lots of songbirds, macaws and monkeys! The pool is large and lovely and is lit up for night swimming. The room and bathroom was big and nice looking. Lots of places to put your things. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The airport transportation they arranged was great. It’s a short taxi to the beach, restaurants and shopping. There is a small store just steps away.

food was ok, not great. The amount of fruit served with breakfast was a smaller portion than other places we stayed.

The restaurant is the only detailed that I believe needs improvement, the cup where they served the coffee was dirty on the outside food was fine but this detail makes you wonder about the rest.

The rooms were very large, with a large bed, a couch and even a desk area. The bathroom was quite large as well and offered everything necessary. The breakfast was good as well with option for Costa Rican, continental or American breakfast. The property has a very large garden with lots of trees and flowers around and the swimming pool is pretty neat too, including a whirlpool for 4 people on the side. The water temperature in the big pool varies around 28-29°C and in the whirlpool it can go up to around 31°C, slightly colder in the mornings when they change the water.

Some of the sunbeds from the pool could be renewed or refurbished, as the net is loose and you end up laying on the metallic frame instead, which is not comfortable at all, but there are still a few good ones to use. Although there was space for a bar next to the pool, it was not open, so you couldn't serve anything there. Additionally, the restaurant was only open for breakfast and lunch, but not for dinner.

Very large and well equipped rooms, a bit older but high quality. Daily cleaning, very good breakfast and pleasant emloyees at the restaurant. Large and clean pool, beautiful garden. In fenced area with guard at the gate. Good parking opportunities.

We missed a little bit more life at the pool, for example there is no bar at the pool area to get drinks or snacks. And also we missed a seating and resting area in the large garden.

This hotel is outside lively Jaco, so is ideal if you want peace and quiet. The grounds are extensive and merge with the forest and there is plenty of wildlife to see from Humming birds to Trogans and Monkeys. The pool is large and provides a welcome relief after the heat of the day especially after a visit to Carara National Park. The breakfast is tasty and substantial. Coffee great! Rooms are simple , clean and spacious with super aircon. An added bonus is a small Cafe/Soda called Jaco Sabor a short distance from the Hotel near the Main Road which offers excellent Comidas Tipicas.

very beautiful property. well taken care of the pool is amazing. the grounds are amazing. you feel like you are truly staying in a tropical paradise. the free breakfast was very good. all of the staff were friendly and helpful. the rooms and bathrooms are huge.

the wifi was not great. most of the stay the signal was not very strong in our room. it’s a huge property so need more extenders or something. late at night it did get better. the tv in the room was a huge box tv from probably 1980. time to upgrade the tvs to flat screen so you can stream Netflix and things like that.

Rainforest gardens created an oasis of tranquility and beauty. Water pressure was good. Nice to have a fridge to keep drinks and food cold. Also nice to have a safe in the room although the staff was lovely and trustworthy. Great breakfast with choices was included. It was nice to have bicycles to get us into Jaco downtown without a car. Pool was great and had a nice little waterfall with a grotto behind it. Showers and bathroom by the pool were clean.

Because there were no nice restaurants nearby we would have liked it if the restaurant was open for dinner instead of lunch.

Queen room was a very good size. Clean and comfortable. Pool was nice too and we were joined by the white faced monkeys. Staff were lovely. Well away from the hustle and bustle of town

Loud music in the restaurant at breakfast time. Why? Breakfast OK but not the best we had in Costa Rica. Some dog owners failed to keep their dogs under control and we had a yapping daschund above our heads and around the pool.

Beautiful maintained gardens, with monkeys jumping from tree to tree. A great size pool to cool off in and decent sized clean rooms. Staff were super friendly and were happy to deal with any requests.

Be sure to check your final bill. Somebody charged their lunch to our room, whilst we were out at the beach. Reception resolved the issue once we queried the charge.
