Kefalos Beach Tourist Village

Great location, walking distance to the city center, shops, restaurants. Large room, really clean and well equipped. Housekkeping staff very friendly and polite.

When we arrived, there was a man at the reception desk not very friendly, but his women colleague was nice and explained everything to us. When leaving, again some man at the reception desk - I said :"I would like to check out". His response: OK and that was it....It´s maybe a small thing, but some questions would be nice.... for example: "How was your stay? Was everything OK? Will you come again?" or "Thank you for your visit"... I have traveled and worked in the hotel industry for over 20 years and and this is the only thing that immediately got my attention on an otherwise flawless stay. Maybe you should train the reception staff better....but again - this was the only thing that bothered me ... maybe the gentlemen didn't have their day?

We traveled with 2,5-year old child and we stayed in Superior Studio with Inland View. First impression when we got in was that room was big, really clean and it was cleaned every day during our stay. There was big well equipped kitchen in our room and balcony with beautiful view. There is a possibility to use washing machine for 3 euros and also there was a drying rack on the balcony where we could dry our clothes if needed. Hotel area was also very clean. There were always enough sunbeds available by the pool or sea. Breakfast and dinner were very good for one week stay. Our little one enjoyed the children pool and especially the hotel beach, although it is little bit rocky and there is a lot of sea weed in the water. The staff was very friendly, helpful and we felt very welcomed there. When returning to Cyprus, we will for sure stay in Kefalos Beach Tourist Village again.

They are using a lot of celery, especially in the salads which they are offering. If you don´t like the taste then it is a shame, because there are automatically much less options to choose from. Rest of the food was really good.

Food/bar/grass area

Rooms not cleaned during stay, this apparently is their policy Reception said only 3 things done daily: towels changed, beds made & bins emptied. We were only there for 5 days but if you were there for 2 weeks still no actual cleaning would be done - no floors washed, toilets not cleaned, bath/shower/wash basin not cleaned, no dusting or wiping of surfaces. Nothing would be done until you leave so although it's clean for the next guests, you don't get any of these things done while you're there.

Comfortable hotel right on the coast. In honor of our birthday, they made a free upgrade and congratulated us with fruit and champagne. The hotel consists of two-storey villas, there are many flowers in the green area. Between the beach and hotel there is a lawn with sun loungers and a wide promenade, you can walk. The restaurant is large, but unfortunately, not having outdoor area. The private beach is very narrow, the sea in this place is rocky, but to the right along the coast there is a good beach of the Elysium hotel, in 10 minutes walk there is a beautiful Venus beach - one of the best in Paphos.

A nice idea of a hotel in the form of a village. The hotel is directly next to the beach with sand. Excellent food, friendly staff. When I told the receptionist the mattress was too hard for me, it took them one minute to arrange and bring a mattress topper, which impressed me - not every even 5-star hotel was ready to do that for me.

The only inconvenience was the fact that when you have a room on the ground floor, the little terrace is right next to the street, so it would be easy for anyone to get in the room from the street. For this reason I was afraid to keep the terrace door open in the night. I would replace the door with a tilt-and-turn window. Or take a room on the first floor :-)

Great location for exploring the area; very friendly staff. It was quiet during the daytime (they’re closing in a week’s time) with plenty of sun beds, no queues for drinks. Food in the all inclusive was for the most part very good.

Snack choice on all inclusive is very poor. if you’re hungry after 2pm or fancy a late lunch, the only option is chips, pizza, chicken nuggets or fish fingers. A small selection of sandwiches and cucumber/tomatoes. There is a fabulous snack menu with chicken wraps, various salads and numerous other delicious choices but these are all payable for AI guests. A shame because they have a wonderful outside terrace overlooking the sea that would be lovely for a nice lunch but AI guests have lunch indoors in the dining hall. would have been nice to have a lovely salad and a glass of wine on the outdoor terrace….

The hotel is very nice for the price. It's clean, the meal is delicious, the sea is nice. Even though it's not the most beautiful beach in Paphos, it's still very good to swim, especially observing underwater world. The all inclusive package is very generous, also including alcoholic drinks and cocktails.

The staff at the bar is not always polite. But the staff in the restaurant is good. The bathroom has a lot of space but it's not used rationally. Would be very nice to install a hygienic shower and some hooks for the towels on the wall otherwise empty.

Pretty much everything. Lovely room, great location (wish I had booked a sea view), good food, with great choices and variety, good choice of included drinks, really friendly staff, great service, nice pool. Didn't feel busy even though it was, no huge queues for meals.

the usual..... People hogging sunbeds for hours without using them. (NOT the fault of the hotel, just a general holiday grump!)

The room was great! It was very big and had a nice view from the balcony. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We liked the pool bar/restaurant, and there was a lot of choice at breakfast. The location was also excellent and close to the main attractions we wanted to see in Paphos, and it was also nice (and warm enough!) to sit by the pool or beach each day. And it was useful to have the shop on the site of the hotel too! Thanks for a great stay.

Very good value for money, we liked the apartments, food was good, facilities were what we needed. Very friendly staff

The mini club. The staff was friendly, material was ok, but the room was not. It's half underground and the smell of mold was awful. I felt sorry for the girls who were working there and had to stay in that environment.
