Color Hotel Skagen

Very friendly staff. And a real dog friendly hotel, he got a better welcome than I did :). Joke apart, water bowl filled with fresh water, doggie treats, and his own duvet. Their restaurant is also very good, excellent fish soup, and all the meny was good. The staff seems happy to work there, and I travelled a lot so I can see when staff like their job

Can´t think of anything right now. Outside it looks a bit run down, but that is the weather wearing out, but the apartment and the interior is all good

Great facilities - it was nice to be able to relax by the pool and on the patio or in the bar in the evening. Good to have a gym/ spa facilities. Comfortable room and nice balcony. Rented a bike from the hotel, which was a great way to get back and forth from centre of town (which was a 25/30 min walk away

The room’s furnishings were basic and functional. Very thin walls so can hear lots from next door rooms and had loud children in the room next door. No fridge/ kettle/ robe in the room. Breakfast was nice but not a particularly wide offering. The were not a great number of seats around the pool so often there wasn’t one free (did visit during school holidays so was busy). Would suggest visiting outside of school holidays.

We spent 3 nights in a refurbished one bedroom appartement. It was very quiet and comfortable though a bit expensive what is the reason for rating it 9 and not 10. The outside area with swimming pool, whirlpool sauna and gym was very nice and a real plus. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner at Holger Restaurant was brilliant! An excellent stay!

Great amenities, comfortably sized room, good food.

The exterior suggested it would be a much more dated property, but inside it was fresh and comfortable.

Clean, quiet, comfortable room. Wish I had brought swimming trunks as hot tub was right outside. Also wish we had time to stay another one or two nights. A great location and hotel. Food and breakfast was good. Had dinner there.

Only that I had no swimming trunks.

Staff is so friendly and accommodating! Love that they have bicycles available there to rent! This made for an awesome way to tour town every day! We also loved the breakfast, the live entertainment in the evenings, and the convenient location-close to the rail, close to town, and beautiful grounds! Warmly can recommend this hotel.

Not the first time I am staying already in this hotel. For me - nice location and nice breakfast, basically all what I need. Parking is large.

The apartments are very spacious and nice for a longer stay. The pool and the jacuzzi were nice as well.

The floor was not so clean so we needed socks or slippers to walk.

We loved the location and the heated pool area with sauna and jacuzzi.

The floor of the room was kind of sandy. It would have been nice if there were slippers or either cleaned better.

Good enough breakfast. Nice parking place, nice location of the hotel. Check-in desk works at night, this was important for me, because I did not know exactly at what time I would arrive, but I arrived at about midnight, if I remember correct.

In general, I can't say much, because I stayed for one night during my working trip in that area. So, I arrived very late and departed early as well.
