We lived in this area for 7 yrs and were looking for a place in a good location to walk to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and the beach. This is it! Five minutes and you're there. Very clean and the water pressure is strong and water is hot. Nice breakfast for a low cost as well if you'd like to add it. This is not fancy, but it suits our needs perfectly, and I love how each room is named after an artist and decorated with their work. Alex is a very helpful manager, and he speaks several languages well. We will stay here again. Also it is a very quiet area which is difficult to find anywhere in this town. So a good night's sleep is possible.

Wifi internet was fast enough for digital nomad or remote work for video/audio/screen sharing. Netflix provided in my room buffering was a bit slow at night as my neighbours likely watched during covid curfew too. Breakfast was balanced with outdoor or indoor seating (good for covid) Good airflow from lobby to third floor roof top deck for temperature and covid. Fans and AC in room Hotel building in central location with a lots of restaurants in walking distance. Room view looked on to the neighbouring accommodation with a pool view :) Restaurants in neighbourhood have friendly staff and following covid protocols Clean floors

Wifi internet dropped occasionally for seconds so I selected on of the other WiFi SSIDs (network names). Breakfast was repetitive and small No laundry rack with minimal outside space Neighbourhood is super ugly with vacant or underused land with garbage piles. The room needed additional cleaning on our arrival so we wiped down the high touch surfaces and washed table tops. Cleaning was on the low side but not gross or not creepy

It was nice and central in the town with nice stores close by. The food in the surrounding area was great. It was very enjoyable to sit on the roof of the hotel and indulge in a locally made cigar and rum.

I really did not enjoy that the shower had a shower curtain rather than a glass shield. Beyond that it was rather enjoyable to stay there.

Great location, very close walk to bars supermarket and beach. Awesome price for private room, beautiful balcony upstairs. Strong air con and felt safe and welcomed.

Kitchenette wasn't really functional but having mini fridge was good enough! You can hear loud music from the bars nearby (like most places in Punta Cana) so if that's bothersome to you, that might be something to consider. For the price and location I would definitely go back!

The hotel has great style. All is atmospheric and really nicely arranged. It surely has a soul what make you feel good. The rooftop eating/chilling place is very cosy. Staff is very nice. It is super close to the beach (this has algi..:p but it is usual thing in punta cana. In general, i would recommend, and it is surely value for the money

Overall impression is very good. Minor things that could be improved is that the offer stated that there is shampoo and all toiletters and hair dryier. It was not included. When we went for breakfast we were said that it is not included - but it was so pay attention on that ;)

Staff is very nice, location is great; close to the beach and restaurants without being on a noisy street, rooms are comfortable with AC, complementary breakfast is good with fresh fruit.

The attendant at the front both male and female where superb,very friendly and welcoming I was able to get information on where to do a covid test and they where nice enough to print docs for us which the airline required to go back home. The room it self is a big room with a little balcony the bed was a king even though booking said it was a double so that was great. The location was great could walk 5 mins to local bon market and alot of nice restaurants with great food close by. It was good value for money the just need to do better with apperances inside the room,the hotel had beautiful paintings on the wall it was very cute.

The hotel needs some good cleaning and changing of hardware the bathroom faucet both sink and shower looks grimy. The bathroom sink and kitchenette has rust which gives the appearance that it is dirty the fan in the sealing was dirty I was afraid to turn it on didn't want all that bacteria flying around the room.

We love the hospitality of the staff members, and their delicious breakfast. It’s located in a tourist area which allows you to go walking distance to many different restaurants.

That they were having some issues with the Wi-Fi and that you have to connect with like 3 different routers. Which was unfortunate. Because we could not use Wi-Fi in our room.

Me and my boyfriend booked a one night stay at Art villa dominicana. I dont normally write reviews but i have to for this hotel! We were so happy with the service, the employees were very kind, helped us out with everything and even let us return to the hotel after our check out to take a shower before our flight! I loved that each room is named after an artist and the rooms are clean and colourful. I would definately recommend this hotel. Worth the price 100%.
