I like the property Very much, it was clean, beautiful, having all the need it facilities. It is located In the Colonial zone. That’s really great and you can go in foot in each part of colonial zone. The people were great. Nelsa came to show me the exchange house. They recommended me a beautiful island to go. All the time were happy, smiling and doing everything for the guest from their heart. They help me to book the taxi to and from airport. They wait for me until 5 AM in the morning, when I arrived. A very good breakfast: 4 posible choices: english, dominican, continental, fitness. All the time with fresh juice and fruits. The rooms were nice, big, old style, clean and smelling great. I would definitely go back to Casa Sanchez Hotel.

We stayed in Las Mirabal Hermanas suite.l It's an amazing place. Lots of heart put in and well thought amenities, decor, guides, etc in the entire Casa.. It's a very high standard, above Dominican Republic. Breakfast was really nice too. The place It's with lots of colour, truly amazing! Received very good sightseeing tips from the owner with the highlight of the cable car journey. Also received some free cerveza. Swimming pool which is well lighten at night. Whole place is really good.

It seems that our room was not available but for extra dollar we got an upgrade to a suite with some free beer which we didn't regret

This place is just delightful. We went to an airbnb and it was so disgusting, we wondered if all of santo domingo would be like this. We booked Hotel Sanchez because of the cheap price and because the reviews were positive on cleanliness and customer support, took our bags and went over. It was awesome, the room was clean, the staff was super nice. Me and my husband were suffering from food poisoning and they were so helpful. Not only was it clean and lovely, it was also extremely charming! Every room is different and full of charm, beautiful and exotic tiled floors and new world gorgeous wooden furniture. They had a gorgeous pool I wish I could’ve had the time to swim in, and a gorgeous rooftop with self service bar and a yummy looking hot tub!! We went around 10pm and there was nobody there!! Finally, location. This places location is prime. You are a block away from el conde, the liveliest street in Santo Domingo, where anybody can walk alone and safe, and where by following takes the straight to the great park with all its attractions. Incredible location for tourism!!

The house is as shown in the pictures. I only stayed 1 night with my family. The rooms were clean enough, it has a nice pool and terrace and kind staff. It's close to the El Conde street from which we could walk to main attractions in the city center.

Both rooms had issues with the AC. My room was too cold at some point during the night and we could not adjust it manually using the remote control because apparently the AC settings are controlled by the reception. My parents' room AC was not working at the beginning, the lady from the reception kindly helped us but unfortunately we did not manage to setup the temperature we wanted.

In the vibrant heart of Zona Colonial, the Hotel Sánchez stands as a poignant intersection of affordability and historical richness. Nestled amid the lively rhythm of bars and restaurants, this establishment not only exudes charm but also encapsulates the very essence of Santo Domingo's storied past. The rooms, steeped in authenticity, unfold tales embedded in the floors, views, and spaces, painting a vivid portrait of the city's enduring legacy. The staff, basking in the warmth of the Caribbean sun, extends a genuine welcome, serving not just as keepers of hospitality but as custodians of a living history. Their warmth orchestrates a comforting melody in the symphony of my travels, forging a connection that transcends the ordinary. As I return to Zona Colonial, Hotel Sánchez becomes a bridge to centuries past, where the air doesn't just whisper with cleanliness but resonates with the echoes of a bygone era. The cobblestone streets engage in a silent dialogue with the walls, creating a backdrop that speaks to the very soul of Santo Domingo. And amidst this historical tapestry, the beds offer a sanctuary of comfort after days immersed in the exploration of a city steeped in significance. As a seasoned traveler, I commend Hotel Sánchez not only for its historical integration but also for the exceptional value it affords. The promise of future visits isn't just a pledge; it's a testament to a profound connection with a city that breathes history at every turn, all wrapped in a package that marries quality with affordability.

The hotel is located in a quiet location, with easy access to the city center. The hotel has free bottled water and you can take as much as you want. Not every expensive hotel has such an option with water. it was quiet at night. comfortable mattress.

My friend and I lived in a room with a red canopy over the bed. the room was not the best. Everything looks like in the photo, only 20 years earlier than in the photo. very gray bed, towels blackened in the middle with stains. breakfast was very poor and tasteless. we were there for 2 days and it was my birthday

The location was great, just steps away from the main action in the Colonial Zone. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time we were there. The staff was attentive, friendly, and extremely helpful in answering our questions. The included breakfast was delicious - we tried all options and loved them all.

There's not much negative to share - possibly the jacuzzi's inability to warm up, if anything. But even then, the cooler temperatures in the pool were refreshing during the hot afternoon.

Nelsa and the rest of the staff was so friendly, helpful and always willing to help. The room was so clean, tidy and equipped with all necessary to have a pleasant stay. The swimming pool was a great asset as well as the sauna and the free cold bottles of water to enjoy ourselves. It worth every euro we paid for our stay, we will definitely recommend and come back to this place in Snato Domingo.

The only suggestion we can give is to provide dinner and lunch indoors or room service, it would definitely bring extra ppints to this lovely place.

The staff shows amazing ownership and pride of their hotel. It is a beautiful remodeled colonial home in Santo Domingo's Colonial District. I only stayed one night but would have loved to stay a week. I was able to walk on Avenida Colon, a pedestrian mall located a scant 75 meters away.and take in many of the areas sites in addition to wonderful cafes, restaurants and a park. There is even a Chocolate Museum close by! Casa Sanchez offers a Jacuzzi and a pool... Even more enticing was the "Honor Bar" where you could have a cold one and just jot it down on a sheet! The themed room names are also a hoot. I stayed in the Churchill Room - a British Themed homage. Wonderful bed, air conditioning and.a fridge to stash your water, because one thing is certain, Santo Domingo offers it's share of humidity.

I could not stay longer. I likely would have quit my job and just moved in! I might be a bit weary of the steps to get to some of the rooms but the staff will help you lug your luggage!

This place may be the best comfort/location/price deal you can get in the zona colonial. The staff is super nice, and I really appreciated their flexibility with my late booking(s) and late check-out. They have a lovely patio upstairs where you can chill / read/ stay (the rooms are quite dark). The availability of Netflix on the TV is a plus. The breakfast, which is included, is lovely and I appreciated the hot drinks station available all day. It's a typical zona colonial building with a ton of charm, special mention to the flamingo pool float! ;-) The code to enter the hotel at anytime is practical, and so is the absence of physical key (again a code) to enter your own room! I love the books at disposal, too.

The rooms are a bit small and dark (as usual in this area of town), so not practical if you have many luggage or travelling with a partner. The wifi connection is dropping in the rooms. The swimming pool is very cold. It can be noisy as well in the morning if you are in a room giving in to the interior courtyard.
