Mercure Beauvais Centre Cathédrale

A quiet and convenient hotel. Much nicer than I anticipated, therefore, great value for money. The staff were all excellent and the breakfast was reasonable as it had a good choice of options with a small amount of warm buffet items. The room was spacious and comfortable and the balcony was an extra surprise! Very good location to explore Beauvais (again, the area was much nicer than anticipated with lots of lovely shops, cafes, restaurants etc) We will definitely return to Beauvais and stay at this hotel.

Was a spontaneous decision to leave Paris earlier and come to Beauvais. That hotel seemed to be the only good one available, so it was a logical choice. I liked the hotel in general - looks modern and well designed, rooms are nice and quite spacious for what you usually get for 3 people. Breakfast was decent too. Staff is really nice and polite. Not everyone knows English well, but Beauvais is not the biggest city, so I assume there are mostly local tourists anyway. Will definitely stay here again.

The main thing is the complete absence of hand soap in the room. We had to go to the reception to ask for it and the reception lady had some in there, so I guess it wasn't a mistake - they just want to save soap for some reason. No idea why, but it's the 1st time I see this. Maybe other bits and pieces were missing too, but it's not a deal breaker. The bed was also a bit hard for my liking, but that's subjective anyway. And last thing is the breakfast with only 1 type of eggs and meat. I'm not into eating pastry in the morning, so couldn't find much selection. But all of this is quite minor in my opinion, it's still a nice hotel.

For a Mercure, it's practically a palace. The old wing sits on a small river and looks like it used to be a mill. Very picturesque. The extension is architecturally neat. The hotel is next to the old town and the cathedral, and Beauvais proves a surprisingly good place not just to land, but to stay for a while.

The restaurant was closed and the bar closed very early, before advertised times or our chance to use it. The town has some options within easy reach though.

Excellent dinner in the restaurant on evening of arrival. Delicious, freshly cooked food with great flaours. Good proportions. Great service from the staff who spoke both english and french. It was great to meet such professional staff as this element is missing in a lot of hotels and restaurants following Covid. Rooms were very quiet and cofortable.

Extra pillows would have been good as the one pillow per bed was very flat and did not support my neck very well. Was hard to distinguish the hotel from the road as no signs in view until you are right in front of the main door.

Continental breakfast very good but the layout of the dining room could be improved as certain items were not immediately obvious. Other than that the breakfast choice was good and all items fresh. Room excellent and very clean and comfortable beds.

Excellent location near the cathedral, in a pleasant area near the cathedral and very near the city centre. Free parking on site. Rooms were comfortable, clean, stylish. Good continental breakfast with fresh fruit, cereals, breads, pastries, cheese, meats etc. Cooked options didn't look too appetising if you wanted a "full English".

Meagre supplies of milk for drinks in the room, but ask at reception for extra. Restaurant menus not especially tempting but there's an abundance of restaurants, cafes, bars and take aways in the town.

The room was very clean and confortable. The staff was nice and helpful.

The breakfast was very very poor for the 17€ it costs. honestly, it doesn’t deserve this amount of money. another issue which is not the hotel’s fault, but worth mentioning for future travelers is that you can’t find any taxi at the airport so it’s kind of difficult to get to the hotel. however, the hotel helped us and gave us a phone number of a taxi driver. But this whole thing took 40 minutes of waiting at the airport.

Nice business hotel close to the airport (approx. 5 km, reachable also by walking) and close to the center of Beauvais where you can find some shops, restaurants and bars. Smart and comfortable bed, room well cleaned. Wi-fi without problems. Shower TOP. There is also a good restaurant available.

I just stayed for one night but I have nothing to complaint.

The hotel is easy to find and right by the Cathedral and the local restaurants. There is a good bar on site and a restaurant however that was closed when we stayed which was a shame. The rooms are large, air conditioned, very clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent, very polite and attentive. Will be staying here on our way down south everytime we visit France from now on.

Clean, recently renovated rooms, responsive staff, good breakfast ( for separate cost), good location, in the town center. Large parking nearby. Great place to spend a night when travelling.

The restaurant was closed when we arrived (9 pm), and a person in reception recommended to a nice bar within 5 min walking time.
