Charme Hotel en Beaujolais

This was a surprising hotel, it looks just functional but the restaurant dinner and breakfast were superb and well managed- there was a large party on a group tour having dinner at the same time but we were served without delay to a great meal. Interestingly the bedrooms are arranged in small pods of 4 (like being on the moon!) and you can park right outside your room near grass and shrubs. The nearby river at the old Port is a pretty short walk away, (dog enjoyed it), as is in the opposite direction even nearer the old town with its church and a high street. Just moments from the autoroute, but quiet! It seems Family run and deserves a good feedback!

Nothing really! Before arriving I wondered if I'd made the right choice, and I am happy to report I did!

This is one of those hotels I like to write a review about. It is well-located, both for a tourist guest (Beaujolais wine region) and for a business traveller between the North-East and the South of France, just 40 km North of Lyon and next to the A6 freeway exit/entrance. The rooms are grouped per six in separate pavillons with ample parking space near the room, and the reception and - excellent - restaurant are in a central building.

When it rains, getting out of the car and into the room with the luggage can be a muddy experience.

Lovely little Hotel just off the A6 would highly recommended this property . It was a surprise to find such a well equipped room and bathroom .Shower was great after a long drive . Quiet location being able to park the car right outside was a huge bonus . The Restaurant attached to the Hotel deserves a mention . Opted for the fixed price menu. Delicious! We arrived late and the Kitchen was about to close , it was appreciated that the chef accommodated us . Thank you .

On arrival we were told that we had no booking even though we had received a confirmation email from the actual Hotel . We were told we had the wrong Hotel and that the Hotel we booked was further down the Road . After driving around the area we came back . The receptionist apologised she had made a mistake so all good , just a genuine human mistake . However there was nothing that we didn’t like about this Hotel . Super little find .

The hotel was just few minutes from motorway and that was the reason of our choice. And we got lucky!The room was not spacious but comfortable. The bathroom(the shower) has everything you need, it's clean and tidy. Air con creates comfortable temperature and this is very important because of the hot weather. The receptionist Celine was very helpful and gave us another room due to the parking place. As my partner could'n walk it was important for us that the hotel has a restaurant on site. The hotel really exeeded our expetation .

our stay was as usual very pleasant after a long drive we have stayed at this hotel many times and we have allwas been made wellcome even when arriving after 11pm when caught in a near 400 mile traffic jam all the way from Spain !!

was not made aware by Eurotunnel that we could not eat in the nice restarant for dinner or breakfast because of French covid rules not the hotels fault for breakfast could a tray be made to be eaten in the room just a thought!

Clean and tidy room. Not big, but perfect for the overnight stay. Aircon was VERY welcome. Could park the car directly outside – great for peace of mind. Restaurant is excellent, food is superb. And the hosts speak very good English

We have used this hotel before both travelling south and return. Single nightd. Close to the motorway and easy to find. Quite acceptable as a transit stop.

Excellent location close to motorway. Ultra clean, comfortable beds and ample hot water. Pleasant staff. Quiet. Nice evening meal and breakfast. Ease of booking in and out.

Sliding door between bedroom and w/c and shower did not fully close, and handrail in shower loose. A shower instructions would be useful.

We stayed here whilst watching the Tour de France. Fairly basic rooms but the restaurant onsite was great both for dinner and breakfast. Good customer service, very relaxing and a good price!

Good as always...bedroom small but very clean and has great shower.....able to park car very near room for peace of mind, which is important to us

Nothing is cheap now but value reasonable
