The breakfast is disappointing. This isn’t the first time that breakfast has been underwhelming. It’s described as a continental breakfast which is fine, but there isn’t much food out and available and it isn’t topped up frequently enough. The variety is very limited, for example no fruit yoghurts. Again, not enough baguette available - a breakfast staple in France, surely! There were inly 2 pieces and no more was provided. Only 4 small slices of ham and a couple of other types of charcuterie. There were 6 people in breakfast at the time. Very poor.

The hotel is ideally situated for an overnight stay when returning to Calais from the South. It is very comfortable and the staff are exceptionally welcoming. Breakfast is available from 6am which is perfect when you need to make an early start and is excellent. There is a very good restaurant a few steps away from the hotel as well.

There is nothing about the property to dislike, unfortunately there were some noisy guests who returned to their room very late and disturbed people in the rooms below. But this was not the fault of the hotel.

Parking outside window was good for security but in busier times not so good. The hotel was nearly empty during our stay and very quiet. Very good restaurant next door.

No hot drink making facilities in room. There were hot water machines in reception but no coffee or tea supplies, plus entry to room corridor was a sprung door making carrying two cups of hot water a problem. Breakfast was self service no one around and a bit expensive.

The hotel was just outside the town on a main road very useful for the motorway but also very quiet. There is no restaurant but there is an excellent restaurant which shares its car park with the hotel. The room was very clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is offered from 6am which is very useful when travelling and aiming for an early channel crossing. There was a wide range of choices catering for all tastes.

There was nothing which needed improving.

Comfortable rooms , fantastic location. Parking is important to us as we travelled with a large vehicle with trailer and it was safe and easy to access and park. The welcome was warm and the bar very comfortable. Didn't use the Restaurant for Dinner or Breakfast.

the Check out took ages . It took a long time to produce a formal invoice. This wasn't helpful as we wanted to get on the road.

Bar and lounge area, relaxing, and service very friendly. Breakfast very good, not crowded and unhurried. Free WiFi that actually connected first time and adequate speed.(no buffering).

Although on holiday, there were non the less reports writing and emails to send, and a second chair in our room would have been useful. This was probably due to our requesting a ground floor room to assist with our early stage mobility problems and we had a great wet-room shower so room space was a bit constrained, but no complaints.

Neat, unfussy and clean, reasonably comfortable beds and a decent breakfast spread with some hot food. A good location with secure parking and a super restaurant and bar next door.

Heating wasn't quite up to the freezing conditions, although I appreciated the unrequested extra blanket placed in the room on the second night.

room great but the sink would not let the water out i needed to get on my knees to release the plug not the best as im 73 tried to tell staff but they could not understand. the restaurant was great the meal and service top notch. breakfast not our cup of tea but if you like it then great.

clean, comfortable and in a good location. The restaurant next door to the hotel is a real bonus. staff were all friendly and helpful.

our room overlooked the front of the hotel and there was a group of vintage car enthusiasts staying in the hotel who were very noisy starting their cars early in the morning. we were also disappointed that the hotel has removed its swimming pool.

Foyer was well laid out and comfortable, The staff provided a coffee which was lovely. The restaurant which is a separate business but attached to the hotel was excellent - good food and good value. The room was compact but adequate. Nice shower.

The breakfast was a bit basic and expensive for what it was.
