Staycity Aparthotels Bordeaux City Centre

The staff was so attentive and nice everytime I needed something. Rooms were very well cleaned and organized, and the small kitchen had everything I needed. The bed was king size and super confortable.

We got the smallest room and it was a bit too small for us, but it was really not that bad. We had issues with space because we were travelling Europe for 3 weeks, so we had quite a bit of luggage. People who stay in this hotel for a weekend probably won't have the same problem. If you have a gluten intolerance, I wouldn't recommend their breakfast. You can cook in your room as an alternative.

Spotlessly clean and in a great location. Bed was huge and v comfortable. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. Air con (downstairs only) excellent. 15 min walk from station, 10 min walk to the mirror pool and 2 min walk from Saint Michel Square. Very quiet, even in August, but a street away from bars and cafes.

Location , parking very good for city parking. Hotel very clean , good breakfast , staff friendly. Although we didn’t use the kitchenette, it was very well equipped and very clean . Overall a very good experience - would go back

Air conditioning could have been easier to use . Thought the TV was too big for the room , got in way of entrance to kitchenette

We had a functional room with small balcony and picturesque view of a small church right next to the hotel. The room was fairly small, but its furnishings were well arranged, including a large bed and large drawer underneath which is suitable for 2 suitcases (and there are bigger rooms if you're willing to pay a bit more). The kitchenette was small, too, but well equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink and Nespresso machine :-). Good location of the hotel near the (great) church of St. Michel (5 minutes walk, 10 min walk to next tram station). Very nice receptionist who gave a lot of tips for sightseeing and shopping (as well for gluten free baked goods). Cozy lobby where you can alwasy have free normal water and flavoured with lemon. Breakfast is also available, but we did not have breakfast there.

The bathroom is spacious, but unfortunately there was a musty smell in the bathroom when the ventilation was not running ( even and especially when we were not there and therefore the ventilator was not running). Unfortunately, there was no gluten-free breakfast, but there were tips on where to get gluten-free breakfast (at the Bakery Art Gallery - BAG, around the corner from the hotel).

We felt safe & secure at this apartment hotel. Service staff were attentive, warm & welcoming, helpful with tourist advice & offered great restaurant recommendations too. Location is convenient to public transport, shops, food & sights. Loved having the fitness room & views of beautiful garden courtyards within the property. Internal lifts, ramps made access with luggage easy. Room while compact in size, offered all we needed - super comfortable bed, lots of storage, functioning kitchen/appliances, tv, good lighting & AC/ventilation. Loved that the windows could be open onto a small balcony. Good bathroom amenities.

The internal bathroom/shower had a damp/musty smell. Although this did not affect its functional use.

This is a really nice place. The staff here are lovely, and go out of their way to help. I stayed in a mini studio apartment, which was very small but absolutely fine for a short stay. They make great use of the space and it was a bonus to have a small balcony. The room was very clean and had all the facilities we needed. It was handy to have a bar and the option to buy food at reception, too. The location was great - I'd really recommend this place.

While it was perfect for my partner and I, some people would probably find this room too small, though we had the option to pay a little more for a larger studio. The bed was also very high (as it had large storage space underneath) but very comfy.

Friendly staff, they gave us a free upgrade and also very chill about checking out a little later. The receptionists were all friendly and professional. The studio was great and had all the right facilities/amenities for an aparthotel. Great location on a quiet street right in the middle of town

It would have been nice to offer to clean the room for people staying longer, since we were staying for about 4 days. But I think that was done to save money because it is an apartment-hotel in that sense. We would have been happy to pay for cleaning somewhere in between. Other than that, really great place to stay.

Staycity was in a brilliant location just a few hundred metres from the hustle and bustle, restaurants and bars but in a very quiet street. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and so was the entire site. Staff on the ball and the 24/7 reception was very handy. Breakfast was good and very reasonable value. Car parking and air con 2 other bonuses.

Only thing we would have changed personally was not having the lovely big bed up against the wall, that was my misses side and after enjoying the Bordeaux's nightlife it was tricky to get in and out of the bed 😂

Excellent location, the hotel is new, clean & modern. We opted to not have the breakfast although it appeared to offer excellent value for money, preferring to eat at the many local cafes for more atmosphere. The staff were generally helpful & friendly. All areas of the City Centre, including rail & bus connections within easy walking distance.

We were disappointed to be only given 3 coffee capsules for the 5 nights we stayed at the hotel. Also we had to chase the staff on 4 separate occasions to book & confirm a taxi to take us to the airport. When they eventually did we were told it would be 70 Euros, we declined & travelled by bus. Reviewing online the average cost is 43 Euros.

We were originally booked into a standard hotel but this was not up-to-speck. So, we chose to come to StayCity. We booked a standard room and it was exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable, although was on the taller-side to that of usual beds. The breakfast was continental, choices of pastries, cereals, pancakes and toast. A selection of fresh coffee, tea and some fruit juice was also available. It was a small seating area but we didn't have any problems gaining access. The Aparthotel was very close to the centre of Bordeaux, with the high-street and tourism office being situated within a 10 minute walk.

For the cost, we couldn't argue with the value of the breakfast. However, we would have gladly paid extra for some hot options to also be available.
