Cosmiques Hotel - Centre Chamonix

Beautiful and relaxing environment for breakfast, nice music. The location of the hotel is excellent as well as the system for keeping ski boots and skis. Service was extremely friendly, thank you:), the atmosphere was nice and cozy. The interior is very well planned with many details. The hotel is personal, fresh and clean.

Less salt in the omelette would be nice. A suggestion for busy mornings (which we used to have as skiers): A possibility for fast breakfast from your bar counter, incl. for example tea/coffee, fresh orange juice, croissant/quiche. May be that was possible, but we did not notice that possibility and did not ask for it.

Great location, in the middle of the town, and really close to the main bus stops that head out to the slopes. The bedroom I stayed was comfortable, and well equipped, although it was on the smaller side. The hotel is great for groups skiing, it has a space dedicated for storage and changing into your boots. The hotel was all remodeled as well, and we appreciate the fun decor. The staff was very kind, and allowed us to hang out in the restaurant/lobby while wishing for everyone to get ready. Overall good value for money

The bedrooms were small, as was the bathroom - the sink was particularly small to the point where washing your face made a splash. Some friends had even smaller bedrooms, making hard to open luggage, etc. No big deal, since we were aware of it by other reviews. Only important point to note is that we requested the beds to be separate for the single people in the group, and although they agreed, when we arrived the beds were not separate. Note that they can't separate them due to limited space, however that was not made clear prior to arriving. If you are sharing the bedroom with a friend, make sure you are comfortable sharing the same bed.

The staffs and owners were very helpful and ever cooperative. The location is outstanding. View from some of the rooms are very good. Restaurant, caffe and the bar were quite good and have good service. Train station, cable station are a few minutes walking distance. Situated within the central area of Chamonix.

Rooms were too small specially the rooms having good view. It seemed too many rooms were carved out of the space of the existing building. No elevators for the upper floors, though hotel owners extended their best to lift the luggages to higher floors.

Amazing staff. I’m not normally a ten out of ten review person but they have made a special place with lots of positive little small touches. They state they want you to have a cosmic experience and they do go the extra mile to make it a great space to stay. Warm welcome, free olives with your recommended lovely win, plants growing and being nurtured, cool quotes inked on back of toilet wall, and a brand new feeling perfect room. Would fully recommend. Views of the hills are amazing too.

Would have liked to stay longer!

Nice vibes in the café area downstairs and the hotel is well positioned towards the Brevent ski lift. Rooms are fine but quite small with little space to store your luggage, but we managed well as we did not use the room much beyond showering after being out on the slopes and sleeping.

Quite difficult to get the single beds in our 4p room. These beds are on a internal 2nd level in the room and need to be accessed via steep stairs with little manouvering space. Not for the elderly I would suggest.

Our children loved sleeping on the mezzanine, they thought it was "so cool," to have their own space. Central location - easy to get into town. Friendly, helpful staff. I'd been worried from previous reviews about the size of the room but it was perfectly fine for our family and luggage.

Breakfast was a little limited - e.g. there weren't enough croissants for us all to have one. This wasn't a big deal though, as there was also baguette available.

The staff were so accommodating. I had pulled a muscle while I was hiking earlier in the day and when I mentioned it in passing, they asked if I wanted a bag of ice. So kind! The recently renovated room was clean, comfortable, and convenient. Breakfast was delicious fresh bread, butter, and jam with a warm beverage. I highly recommend this hotel.

Be aware that there is no elevator in this hotel and there are no rooms on the ground floor. There is a restaurant at the hotel, but it was closed on the evening that I arrived, so plan accordingly. For some reason I couldn't get the window blind in my room to close all the way, but the window faced the wall of the adjacent building, so it wasn't a big deal.

Cosmiques is a great hotel in Chamonix Mont Blanc. The staff is quite helpful and polite. The room and bathroom are comfortable and clean. The colors inside the building, including room and stairs, make the place cozy. Every detail is beautiful there. There's a bar with a nice space to spend some time. And a wonderful point: they offer vegan meals, including for breakfast! Besides all that, The location is perfect. In the city center and a walking distance from the train station.

Staff - everyone we interacted with - was friendly, helpful, and conveyed they were happy we were there. Hotel overall was a great value for my wife and me - comfortable, conveniently located in Chamonix center, and great price. A small, rather quaint place to rest up after a day of hiking - exactly what we look for in a place like Chamonix where our purpose is to be outdoors, not spend the day in a glitzy big city hotel.

No issues the hotel could have changed or done anything about. Chamonix itself was kind of noisy well into the evening, but people in the hotel itself were quiet.

The staff is doing the utmost that you feel like you are the only guest.In breakfast time there is a quesionnaire about your favorites food

The room consists of a large bed and a tiny sink and a section with tiny shower and toilet bowl.In the section you can't wipe yourself with a big towel,so you need to do it in the shower itself or in the room,but the people from the buiding in front of you can watch you.I'm not saying they will,but there an inconvenience by that. In the sink,beside the bed, the water are splashing on the floor,since it's so tiny.So, you need to wipe the floor if you don't want to dirt the floor
