KOPSTER Hotel Lyon Groupama Stadium

Met our needs and expectations. We chose the hotel for it's location as we were there to watch Depeche Mode. The hotel was fully aware and focused on who their clientele were that night and delivered on every need and more. Food was good and the room was comfortable. It was a bit pricy but considering the benefits of the location and the the fact that there was a major event at the stadium that night, it was to be expected.

I had arranged for a delivery to the hotel that arrived after I had checked out. The hotel had promised to either they send the delivery back or look into sending it on to me in Cape Town. I received a notification that the parcel was delivered, but never heard back from the hotel.

Location and even though there was a slight language barrier with staff all turned out ok

The booking communication prior to stay as I said pay at property but they took it months earlier plus was unaware of a pending charge for potential damages or 1st night cancellation I still don’t really know hope that goes back into my account like they said also tourist tax was only mentioned a day before I arrived but no problem just should be all better in writing to the customer/guest

the hotel is very nice, has all the facility required to spend some relaxing time and just have to walk 2 mins to the stadium. the staff was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, always helpful, nice, feeling like home. Breakfast is great and we also had lunch at the restaurant which was very testy (try the ravioles)

as it was the RWC the price was very high, but it was the same everywhere we went for the Games so nothing different

Very efficient communication prior to arriving to arrange everything. Easy entrance to the property and worry free parking. All staff were highly professional and helpful. Made you feel welcome from the moment you arrive until check out

The ventilation shut off in the room in the middle of the night, making sleeping uncomfortable. To their credit, the staff said we should have called the front desk even at 4:00 am.

The hotel is good. easy to locate and great facilities. BUT. the best thing about the Kopster is it’s staff. From start to finish of our 4 day stay they just couldn’t do enough for us. also a good tram metro link to the old city. just great all round

It is a perfect location for concerts/events at the Groupama Stadium. Customer service is excellent and the rooms are comfortable.

You cannot come back immediately after a concert as you will be blocked up the road by security. You need to make sure that you stay at around the hotel the night of a concert.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast hours and dinner hours were really good. Nice greeting on first day from staff and helpful to provide an ironing board and iron.

I just thought the room size cold have been bigger a dining room would have been useful. Maybe the addition of a cooling machine/freezer would have been really good.

Room is clean and well presented (new furniture and very special wallpaper). Super good breakfast, seriously, the best I've had in a France hotel, from the croissant, to the spreads, cheese and bread

Parking location is not very clear, it took me a good 10 minutes to figure out that you actually need to drive in the no access road to get in, a sign would be helpful

Elevator not working properly. Cot (without matrace) for baby were not installed inthe room, but provided at reception with the blankets - quite disturbing specially if you arrive late at night with lugage and kids

Room was comfortable, location for what we wanted was perfect. Bar served pizza which were good.

Evening meal was terrible so didn't eat there the second night but had a pizza. Very slow at the bar which was very busy.
