ibis Château de Fontainebleau

We are well familiar with the Ibis brand and this hotel was right on the money. The location is fantastic and parking, which was important to us, was easy. Breakfast was delicious with a good range of food. The staff were lovely and it was nice that they had a bar as we needed one after a 9 hour drive. Whilst the room was compact, everything was spotless and the bathroom was just what you need. Lots of lovely restaurants are very close by as it the beautiful Chateau

Having had a difficult train journey from London, and opting for a taxi yo arrive Fontaineblau I was very tired and ue to a recent operation in some discomfort.The receptionist on duty ( evening 14/4) wne tout of his way to make me welcome and comfortable ( FANTASTIC). the following morning the receptionist solved my telephone charging problem( which was very much needed) and throughout my stay all the staff were friendly , efficient and welcoming. Check out was very easy and effective - no queue!

This is a lovely hotel and reflects the Ibis brand. The location is fantastic, really close to the chateau and lots of lovely restaurants. Parking was easy and very cheap at the Chateau parking lot 2 minutes away. Breakfast was delicious with a broad range of food available. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Location though I had somehow imagined a view over the Chateau , my mistake! Location very convenient

Air con slightly noisy Would have appreciated tea/ coffee-making facilities in the room

good position in the center of Fontainebleau, close to restaurants and shops. about 30 min walking to reach the forest. breakfast was very good and above our expectations

perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, except for the breakfast that was worth the price :)

Comfortable, clean, central. A great breakfast and friendly staff. Definitely recommended! The easy to use, effective air conditioning was also a major plus.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Showers had hot water and were clean. Quiet room

Wish the rooms had a small safe. Parking was a little confusing but we figured it out.

Great location in town. Good car park underneath or very nearby. Beautiful bed and linen!

It would have been helpful to say they had underground parking with height restrictions so no good for us with roof box…

Superb location & spotlessly clean

The underground car park says its 1.95 m but it actually reduces to 1.75 m for the Ibis section. This is not made clear, so we tried to park our campervan there (1.9m) and had to turn round & come back out . There is an overground car park about 3 minutes away across the road.

The hotel has a great breakfast. Definitely a nice surprise. Much better than you would expect for an Ibis.

The heater inside the room could be better.
