Hotel Des Dunes

The general areas were well decorated and comfortable. The hotel provided parking. Our bedroom was a nice size and the room had a kettle. Its located within walking distance of the beach.

When we called through to reserve a parking space and get directions to get into the car park the hotel should have given us the code or some instruction knowing we couldnt get in without it. Additionally the staff didn't give my friend the main front door code when she asked for a second door key. Without the code she couldn't get back into the hotel as there are no staff on reception from 9:30pm.

Room was a very good size with double and single bed. Good en-suite shower room answer separate toilet. Fridge for keeping milk and beer. Fully opening windows. Goor storage for clothes and cases

Breakfast room was rather dark. Breakfast choice good but scrambled egg was from powder. Room was in the annex up one flight of stairs. Difficult for carrying . Hotel had no bar and reception closed at 8.30 pm hence lacked atmosphere as no meeting of other guests

Location was great. Opposite a supermarket and a short walk to the sea. Also very close to the main shopping street. Parking on site was excellent. Breakfast was good but expensive. Our room was small but had very thing we needed.

There was no milk (not even powdered milk) for the tea & coffee and when I asked at reception (in the afternoon) I was told I could get some at breakfast!

Very good value for money. Friendly reception. Close to the main street of shops and cafes, and the lovely market. Supermarket opposite open until 9pm. Rooms refurbished and with comfortable bed and good shower. Perfect for a short stay. I look forward to staying again.

All good. There is a little traffic on the road outside but no noise with windows closed.

Family room was great for 4 of us. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location very good - 5 mins walk from train station, 10 mins walk to beach, very close to daily market.

Very nice design & style, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are small but very well arranged, everything is very functional and the colors are very pleasant.

I liked everything except the fact that the street on which it is situated is quite busy with traffic, in fact. It is one of the city’s main arteries and mornings and evenings can be quite noisy.

Rooms spacious and exceptionally clean . We had a superior room . Breakfast very good and our bed was so comfortable . A brilliant stay thanks

Family room, comfortable beds, buffet breakfasts, very friendly and helpful staff

Air con could work better, could do with larger bathroom in family rooms (eg. by moving dividing wall with toilet)

The room was perfect for us with a refrigerator, which was very helpful. We enjoyed out stay and were able to walk to the beach and the downtown shops. Parking was great to have! Thank you for a great stay!
