B&B HOTEL Lyon Centre Part-dieu Gambetta

Large room, basic in terms of quality but satisfactory. No major complaints about cleaningness. Perfect air conditioning (on a really hot day). Common spaces basic but pleasant. Parking (11 E/day) was easy and efficient, the lady at the reception explained clearly where and how, so it was really simple. I have asked for parking space in advance (from other comments that appears to be a must, but there was plenty of space when we were there) Loading/unloading space at the entrance to avoid longer luggage struggles. A two minutes walk to the underground station to take you to the centre. Breakfast was basic but fully satisfactory. Overall, a fair 3 stars hotel with good quality/price balance, absolutelly no reason to avoid it if we ever come back to Lyon.

Not being able to contact them by phone (on the number provided by Booking). Having more than 3 towels available for 2 persons would have been nice, since we don't like to share them.

very near to metro. big room and no carpets in the room. the breakfast is ok. parking avalibilty. special thanks to Agnes in reception, she is very helpful and she gave us good recommendations where to go and live areas for eating and walk around .we bought a city card for two days, so many attractions are free, you need to make reservations for boat trip which is free because of city card but you have to make reservation in the tourist information office and also for the tower of cathedral. we also bought hop on hip off for one day.

Nice hotel near the city center. We reached the center in 20 minutes. The room has everything you need. Normal wi-fi. We forgot some things at the hotel. The next day we wrote and called the hotel. Things were returned to us without any problems :)

There were difficulties with check-in. We checked in after 22.00. At the reception there was only a security guard who does not speak English. We could hardly understand that registration is through a special machine at the entrance. Unfortunately, the car is not allowed in the hotel's underground parking lot after 10 p.m. because there is no hotel staff. We had to find a parking space outside

Very modern facilities and so comfortable. Room was a good size as was the bathroom (a lot of places will have only one of the two a good size). It had everything it needed and just felt very secure. Great public transport near by and lovely friendly staff.

It’s a little too far from the station to walk with big luggage and a little far from the main sights of Lyon as well however this wasn’t a massive issue as the taxi wasn’t too expensive and there is public transport near by. Also, the breakfast is a bit too expensive for what’s on offer in my opinion.

The room was clean and the staff were excellent. The staff helped with answering any questions I had and assisted in booking me a taxi very early in the morning. Close to the train and some great bakeries. The air-conditioner was quiet and the room was quiet except for when the neighbours door open and closed.

The room was very basic. Didn't have any mugs or a kettle. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

This hotel is located very close to the metro line D, which made travelling to the old centre easy and convenient, in around 10-15 minutes. Nearby, there is a supermarket for groceries if needed. The room was spacious, beds very comfortable, area quiet at the time of our stay. Staff were very kind, especially young gentleman at the reception who was helpful and understanding and spoke fluent English.

The property was a great value and exceeded my expectations. The room was modern, comfortable and good size, with air conditioning. The location was excellent with very easy access to groceries, transit, restaurants, and parks.

The only things that would have improved our stay would have been a mini-fridge in the room and on-site laundry. Given the quality of the other amenities and the reasonable cost, those items were not critical and overall it was an excellent value.

We enjoyed staying in a family room. It was cosy and clean. The staff at the reception was exceptionally welcome and provided the necessary details regarding the car parking. The Casino supermarket is right across the street.

One of the elevators didn't work so sometimes we had to wait longer than usual to get up or down as the other elevator was overcrowded.

The room was excellent with good air conditioning. Excellent location opposite a 24 hour supermarket and 5 minutes from the Metro with only a few stops into the centre. Excellent value for money for a city centre hotel.

It would help to get the car parking instructions translated into English as the car parking is underneath a separate building and exit and entrance was slightly confusing, but it is a great facility to have for customers.
