Attractive, clean and upmarket property. Surrounding area felt safe for a solo traveler. Beds were comfortable and I liked the variety of pillows. Shower was great with different water jet settings and quality soaps. Towels and robes were soft and luxurious. Mini fridge a bonus. Room was very quiet with black out shades, and window opens for fresh air. Highly recommend.

Not a complaint but just fyi, it is a good fifteen minute walk from the train station. Also a 50 euro deposit is required from a credit card which is refunded after check out.

The staff at reception were very friendly and welcoming especially Lauren, Nolan, Wisal and others. They gave a very good feeling and an immediate response to all our inquiries. The room was lovely and quiet, very clean. The location was excellent close to all the sites we wanted to see, the port and the cruise to Parc national des Calanques‬. The cathedral, bus and trams were right outside the hotel with which we went to Notre Dame. The train station is also close. I loved the atmosphere in the dining room in the morning, which was spacious, comfortable, quiet and pleasant. We loved the selection of cakes and pastries, the varied fresh fruits every day

Very nice and clean hotel. Staff was very helpful, rooms were big and clean. Check-in was very easy, online check-out was available. Location might not be for everyone, it is 16 min walking distance to Vieux Port, but very close to metro and tram, also very close to some museums and Les Terrasses du Port shopping center. Breakfast was wonderful. All in all a very good experience.

Different pricing for breakfast if you let them know the night before or in the morning (more expensive).

The staff was absolutely lovely at this hotel. We have very little French but everyone spoke English and were very willing to help. We requested a room on a higher floor and they were happy to accommodate us. The location was perfect - quick walk from the bus station which we easily took in from the airport. Lovely boulangerie right across the street. We didn't eat the breakfast because of the accessibility of this and other cafes (but I'm sure it's lovely). The room was very clean - bed was so comfortable.. shower pressure amazing.

I don't really have any complaints about this hotel. While is it is on the pricer side when you compare it to similar places in Asia, it is in France so I expected it to be more expensive. We felt is was good value for the price.

I liked the shower! Probably the best hotel shower. Powerful, consistent and versatile with an overhead waterfall and regular hand held. I liked that you needed to use your keycard to access the rooms. The location was not in the heart of the action but short walking distance in either direction to the shops or the vibrant port.

There were a couple of issues with the room, nothing major but I felt like the staff disbelieved me. The issue were resolved within minutes so it's a minor thing. Even though the area is fairly quiet, I did get wakened by noise from outside and furniture being moved in the room above. This is the downside of un-carpeted floors.

The location was a five to ten minute walk from all of the restaurants in the port. The port is very noisy and busy so the hotel is in a perfect location as it is nearby but quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was superb, there was a wide array of items to choose from (I’m vegetarian) and even a moderate amount of items to choose from for my partner who is vegan. There was even some sweets, coffee and free water in reception. The staff were warm, knowledgeable, friendly and spoke good English. The facilities and room were immaculate and extremely clean, consistently, every day. The beds and pillows were the best I have slept on!

The mini bar items were prohibitively expensive and absurdly priced but they aren’t a necessity so it wouldn’t impact my review or experience.

Wonderful hotel. Excellent breakfast. Purely. The location is 5 minutes walk from St. Charles Station and 7 minutes from the Old Port. Very friendly staff. I left early and at my request they prepared a lunch box for me. I did not use it, but if I understand correctly, there are welcome free drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, in the hotel lobby. The rooms are huge, freshly renovated, excellent linens and towels.

I asked for a quiet room, but got a room with windows facing a noisy street. I was alone in the room and asked for a bed with 1 mattress, but I received a bed made up of 2 mattresses, which is not very convenient, because. It is not possible to sleep in the middle because of the mattress seams.

Very clean hotel occupying a nice building, room was spacious enough, with a safe and a nespresso machine. Professional and helpful staff.

There is not enough storage in a room. Lots of empty space in a room, but no rack for a second suitcase (even for a small one!); a wardrobe could barely accommodate just 3 small shirts, no place to hang your coat at all. We actually had to leave our luggage unpacked right on the floor. Bathrobe and slippers would be nice to have for a price paid. The sound proofing is not good, you hear every voice from the street and every car passing by all night. And there is not many of restaurants nearby.

Fantastic location, literally metres from the tram and a short walk from The Panier and The Vieux Port. Really enjoyed the facilities, our bedroom was comfortable and spotless. Really nice to have a proper espresso machine in the bedroom as well. The shower was also very enjoyable with perfect water pressure. The staff were also very friendly and accomodating, we had to leave extremely early before breakfast started and the night receptionist kindly gave us a coffee and pastry before we left. Thanks for your hospitality. If we come by Marseille again we will definitely stay in this hotel.

We did not feel the breakfast was value for money. Breakfast could do with more French fresh food choices. For example, croissants and most pastries were nothing special, and we felt we would have preferred a choice from local patisseries, instead. Coffee choice not to the level seen in other similar hotels we visited. Coming out from a self-service machine, decaf coffees were watery and it was impossible to get a cappuccino done with non diary milk. Plus, Starbucks and many other cafes are a short walk away from the hotel.
