Beautiful hotel, amazing host and the pool was exceptional. The room was large with comfortable beds. The grounds are stunning - it really feels like paradise here.
Our room was quite hot on the top floor. Fans or ac would have been welcomed. The shower did not have an attachment on the wall making bathing the kids more difficult. These are however really minor, our stay was fantastic and we had an exceptional stay.

Fred the owner was very friendly. The room was very pretty. We had a very good breakfast including scrambled eggs.
There was no TV, We didn't realise that when we booked. Normally it wouldn't have mattered but with an early curfew a TV would have been nice.

Our room was large and kept cool with the shutters on the window. Lovely en-suite. The shower was very good, nice hot water. The room was very clean with a large bed and large wardrobe and desk. (No TV in the room which didn't affect us but may have been nice to have if staying with children). There is a wonderful pool which is a good size. The views from the garden are stunning. Overall, a lovely property, more gite than hotel. The host was welcoming, and his English was better than our French.
The property was difficult to find which could be made easier with a larger sign on the roadside especially at night as the venue is remote and very dark. A few simple things would have vastly improved our overall opinion eg. kettle in the room to allow coffee/tea making. Toiletries in the en-suite are required too. There was no hairdryer in the room on arrival, however this was addressed immediately by the host when we requested one. Attention to detail is required, we had a bottle of water left in our room but only had one glass to use. A welcome book in the room to advise on local restaurants/attractions would have been appreciated and probably essential due to the remoteness and lack of catering offered and no amenities within walking distance. A food offering in the evening would have been a big plus. Sadly, breakfast was not the best. Orange juice, coffee, bread/croissant and jam/marmalade - no meats or cheese on offer. Overall, felt like a self catering gite without facilities to make own drinks/food in a remote location.
