Novotel Suites Nancy Centre

Calm location close to the city centre of Nancy (10 minutes on foot). Plenty restaurants close-by. Access to hotel from the motorways around Nancy is easy. Family rooms are really good, it has a double bed and 2 single beds for kids. Breakfast is very good with hot and cold dishes : fried eggs, sausages, bread, fresh fruit, juices etc. Price is 16Euros per person is a bit high, but kids are for free. Breakfast room is in the same space as the reception, relatively small, but with good weather there is a terrace. Hotel has a food and drink distributor in the lobby which is nice. Hotel has a parking garage underneath the hotel. For family travellers by car making a stopover in Nancy it`s a good deal!

Parking in the garage underneath the hotel is limited. What I understand is that there are 16 spots available for 60 rooms. You need to book the parking spot well in advance. However just next to the hotel is a giant movie theatre with restaurants. There is a big carpark (inside and outside) with plenty place and it is for in principle for free. If you arrive after 2AM midnight you pay a a small fee of 3.50 to enter. It seems calm and save. .

Our stay was to our satisfaction and the accomodation was good as it also had a little fridge, water cooker etc. which was very useful! Shower was perfect as was the size of the room and the airconditioning. Breakfast was perfect!

The mattress of the 2-person bed was very soft at the sides and made you have the feeling that you could roll out of the bed. I think that one was ready for replacement. The toilet has a strange nasty smell which we sprayed away with deodorant.

Very easy to find and had secure underground parking. Check in very easy and friendly. The room was large and well specified. Everything was clean and comfortable and worked well. Plenty of towels, all nice and fluffy. It looked like quite a large property but we didn't hear any noise during the night at all.

Nothing. Everything about the hotel was as advertised and very good.

The breakfast was wonderful!!!! (Served 7-10am, the croissants are to die for, you can boil or fry your own fresh egg, make your own freshly squeezed orange juice with the machine, so much choice of fruit, hams, cheeses, butter, breads, pastries, yoghurt, hot drinks, really wonderful!) The bed was very comfortable, the blackout blinds worked perfectly, the shower was great, bath option and extra bed made up in the lovely and spacious room not required on this occasion but nice to have the options. The dog was welcome (€9 extra) and there's a nice park with ponds and carp and a Riverside walk immediately nextdoor to walk the dog. We were very late both booking and arriving but able to check in at 1 am without any issues, even without getting through to the hotel beforehand to let them know, the staff were all gracious and kind. Check out at 12 is lovely and comfortable too. We incredibly found free on street parking right outside and our luggage were safe in the car overnight and all morning.

It's a bit on the expensive side.

The breakfast, is unbelievable! You have to try it. Fresh fruits (no pre bought cubes in juice), fresh oranges to make your own juice, delicious buffet of bread and jams… this is a gorgeous and high standard breakfast for this kind of hotel. Bravo!

Maybe the parking space is a bit small, and could use an update for electric cars. Would be a plus

Underground parking space should be reserved in advance. But you can park in the public parking space near Hotel (just in 2 or 3 minutes)

Room is spacious. I needed to work during the day and the desk and wifi were fine. They do a very good breakfast with fresh fruit and orange juice (press yourself so could not be more fresh), various flavors of yogurt, bread and sweet stuff and even waffles and dates. A lot more choice than expected for this type of hotel and for France in general. Location is also fine, it’s a short and pleasant walk to the main square. Parking in the basement is convenient (but needs to be reserved and comes with a charge).

Pillows were not very firm and synthetic. It’s been commented on here before, but the bathroom and toilet are small and plastic.

The sizing of the room really suitable for our family 2 adults and 2 kids. All require facility are available. Room was clean and we had really good free wifi signal in the room.

Location a bit far from the shopping area. We spent around 10 min by walk as we usually used car but this time we tried to walk. For the rest all good.

Located in a quiet location next to the river. Room looked out over water gardens. Pleasant, safe stroll into the centre of Nancy, approximately 15 minutes. Lovely, helpful and efficient staff. Large room with comfortable beds. Bath & shower provided. Wide choice for breakfast, good quality & healthy. Great coffee. Safe car park (needed reservation).

Very little. However a faster coffee machine, or a second machine would have been perfect.
