Brit Hotel Reims Croix Blandin

An excellent convenient hotel ideal for a stopover for one or two nights en route to the South or back. Don't be deceived by the business park approach - the hotel is self contained at the end of a quiet access road with secure gated parking. Its still quite new so everything is clean and fresh. Very effiicient check in staff and system and they will call you and check you know how to self check in after hours if you're running late. Very nice rooms and comfy bed. No kettle but they provided one on request at reception. We were so pleased with this stop over that we booked it for our return trip as well.

All was good and better than expected.

As the hotel lies in the outskirts of Reims, near the main communication routes, it is easy to reach the city Centre by car as well as if you want to head to the ‘grand cru’ villages of the wine region. The hotel has a wide parking with large shade which is good to keep your car full of bottles of wine, ready to go home. The double bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed. I found a little bit weird the ensuite bathroom which has a separate toilet. Anyway this inconvenience is easy to be overcome. A very good point in favour is the roller shutter which allows you to sleep in the dark as long as you want.

The room has no fridge.

The room was very quiet - soundproofing here works. The staff were helpful in both calling us and also speaking English to help our limited French. The shower was excellent and the nearby retail park was close enough for both breakfast and dinner. A good palce to stop if punctuating a long journey through France from, or to, the ports.

The hotel was having refurbishments to the restaurant and so no food was available there.

Really comfortable and clean hotel. Perfectly located just off the A26 to stop over for the night either to Calais or from calais to go further South. McDonalds and other restaurants, and a Hypermarche, petrol station, just a fifteen minute walk which saves driving into town. Lovely lady ( blonde hair) on reception, very welcoming and helpful which is great after a long journey. Would definitely use again on our next trip to France.

Could do with tea and coffee facilities in the room and maybe a fridge.

The room was clean, spacious and bright. Really good shower. Comfortable double bed which felt more like a king size bed. The AC kept it at a really comfortable temperature. Really good value for money and the buffet breakfast on top was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It’s located on a business park so the surroundings aren’t amazing with a motorway next to it (but you can’t hear the traffic in the rooms). BUT for overnight stay / stop off on a road trip it was perfect as we didn’t want to go into the city

Clean hotel with comfy beds, ideal for a nights stopover en route to Calais

Breakfast was a bit chaotic due to hotel having two coach parties in, so not much left when we went down and no cleared tables, think it was a mix up with the time we were told to go for breakfast, Shame really as last year we really rated the breakfast but for the 24 euros we paid it wasn’t value for money this time.

The hotel is clean, efficient and easy to reach (next to major roads and in an industrial park). I had a good sleep, the bed was good and the room quiet. It's not a place of great charm but gets the job done. Ample parking. Breakfast above expectations

Not much to dislike. It's in an industrial zone so don't expect to go for a cozy evening walk. It's a transit hotel but does the job. You need a car. It seems popular with tour buses but this didn't bother us at all

They have everything you need for a night of transit. Very close to the highway, soundsproof rooms so you can sleep. they have breakfast (though not great but you can manage) so you eat fast and go back to the road

For 12 eur the breakfast is not great. But you can live with it Room could be a bit cleaner but for 1 night was not that big of a problem

Secure parking for motorbike, large room, friendly lady on reception on arrival, could get a drink on a night. Breakfast was good. Buffet evening meal was convenient. Comfortable bed.

We got a room with a wet room bathroom which I dislike as all floor gets wet but would be ideal for a disabled person.

Large, clean rooms with a/c. We had interconnecting rooms which was perfect with kids. Lovely breakfast, safe parking and easy access from the highway for an easy stop en route through Europe

Nothing really. It's situated in an industrial zone next to the highway, so not the most charming setting, but we were after a comfortable stay next to the highway and this was perfect.
