Best Western Plus Hôtel Escapade Senlis

Good enough hotel for an overnight stay. I got the impression it was a business hotel. Location is good just off the motorway and about 2.5 hours to Eurotunnel. Dinner was ok but it wouldn't have cost the waitress a lot to smile. Breakfast was quite limited in choice but was a fair quality. The place was spotless and bright. Reception staff were very friendly as were the restaurant staff with the aforementioned exception.

Better choice at breakfast. Fried eggs which has been under the heat for hours and were dried out. Never used the facilities. Stayed there to visit Versailles and back to the Tunnel.

Lovely and clean room, secure bike storage and pool/sauna was great! Location is good for a short Uber to Senlis. Staff at dinner were very nice and welcoming

Sadly some reception staff on arrival were quite rude, I asked to check in and was met with a grunt and then shunned over to another lady (who was actually nice) it then seemed they were talking about us (in French) and laughing leaving me feeling quite uncomfortable. This is not the start you want when arriving somewhere you’ve paid to be!

Clean and spacious rooms, good bathroom. excellent pool and fitness room. Plenty of parking, location fairly easy to find.

Buffet style meal only. Although it was fine for us not very picky adults, it could have been an issue for families with young children or particular dietary needs. The buffet is not unusual for this time of year and it is not just this hotel that does this, it’s something we have encountered before. One of the rooms had a faulty card reader that would turn off the lights after about 10 minutes, the staff were helpful and said the only option was to move rooms, we stayed put and lived with it.

We picked this hotel for convenient location near the motorway which it delivers on perfectly (and despite being near the road we didn’t find it noisy). The only downside is there’s nothing else on the site other that a local industrial/logistics site. That’s fine, though, as the hotel has a bar, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, a good restaurant and plenty of secure parking.

Excellent hotel with great facilities (restaurant, Sauna, indoor pool, fitness room, safe parking). the bedroom was clean, comfy and quiet despite the highway proximity. each bedroom has a kettle, a coffee machine and a fridge. Amazing restaurant with excellent food for decent prices. excellent hot breakfast. Hotel not too far from Senlis city center (you still need a car).

An excellent sized clean and modern room. The room we stayed in was on the ground floor and next to an exit and a parking space which was excellent especially since we were travelling with a dog. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We also had a dinner in the restaurant and found the food some of the best we have had on our travels.

Nice new hotel, comfortable rooms. Excellent location when travelling over the A1 motorway. Senlis is a wonderful historic town very worthwhile the visit. Car chargers available but you have to ask the reception: the normal charge cards don’t work.

Spatious rooms. Clean. Friendly staff. Just a few km away from Senlis, a cute medieval town. Nice swimming pool and sauna.

Items in breakfast were not filled again for quite some time after trays were emptied by the guests. Can happen, but would have loved to taste the scrambled eggs.

the Tv cast device, so the possibility to connect PC or tablet to the television. The swimming pool is very nice and the water temperature is perfect.

We stayed here twice on our way to/from the Mediterranean coast. Having stayed in Dover and caught the ferry last time, we lost most of the day to the crossing, so we chose to take the tunnel and drive to just north of Paris and overnight at the Escapade Senlis. It's a modern hotel with a secure car park on the outskirts of the town, next to an Amazon distribution centre. Right on the Autoroute which is perfect for our plans. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom and walk in shower spot on. The bonus was the pool, which was great for a dip after spending 8hrs in the car. The restaurant menu was limited but acceptable, and served a good Steak Frites, accompanied by a bottle of Cote de Rhone. Breakfasts on the two stays were poles apart. On the way out, there were only a few guests, I suspect that this was a Covid travel restriction issue (Thursday night) and I think we were last down to breakfast. There was a very limited selection and most of the bread products had been taken before we arrived. On the way back (Saturday night) the hotel was significantly fuller with a wedding in the function rooms too. Breakfast comprehensive, with hot food choices which weren't available on the previous visit and full baskets of everything. I get that you aren't going to overstock the buffet, but I did feel a bit cheated on the first visit. However, the hotel is great, and they have arranged (at our cost) to send on our swimming costumes which we forgot to pack. In summary, great hotel, great location, and we will book to stay here on the way to, and on the way back from the Med next year. Hopefully, the Covid issues will ease and the Hotel will have more Thursday night patrons so the breakfast buffet is better!
