The hotel has an amazing location, probably the best to explore Strasbourg by foot. It has a very nice terasse, too to enjoy meals or drinks and the Spa also has faboulous views. I can also highly recommend the massages. The room was nice, and good size for such a location.

The hotel offers parking but at a cost of 40 Euro a night which I found to be too expensive. There is a parking place 8 minutes walking distance away that cost 12 Euro per 24 hours.

The room was very spacious and the air conditioning was terrific since it was so hot outside. The room was complete with dog beds and bowls, which was a nice touch. The jacuzzi was nice, even on a hot day.

I had requested a balcony room, and had a chat via booking.com with the hotel prior, and it seemed we were going to get a balcony room. But when we arrived they said they didn't have any left. However, the balcony rooms were adjacent to our room and it only appeared that one of them was booked. Furthermore, the view outside of our room must have been the worst the hotel had to offer; it was of the rooftop next door and we really couldn't see anything scenic at all. It was very disappointing since the price of the rooms are high. I understand if no balcony rooms were available at our price point, but it would have been nice to at least have a view of something out the window. As a first time guest the hotel might had made more of an effort. We will not stay here again.

Beautifully furnished room with a view of the river. There was also a coffee machine (for Nespresso capsules), kettle, coffee, tea, and bottled water. The staff were polite and considerate. I had left my bags at the hotel upon check-out, having to go to a previous appointment. The day was quite hot, and upon my return to collect my bags a few hours later, one of the staff very kindly offered me a bottle of water before I left, even without my asking. I really appreciated the gesture. The hotel is also fairly close to the train station, even by walking.

The toilet in the room had no sink. It was a bit strange to have to cross the bedroom to get to the bathroom to wash one's hands after using the toilet.

Hotel Regent Petite France is in a great location in Strasbourg. We were able to walk to the hotel from the Strasbourg train station, and it is in a charming area in Petite Venice. We had a one bedroom suite which was modern, clean, and spacious. We had requested an early check in which they provided. There were free water bottles by the side of the bed. We walked to the Strasbourg Cathedral and enjoyed the ambiance of Strasbourg. One morning we ordered breakfast a la carte which was very good. There is a U Express grocery store nearby also.

The air conditioning did not reach the bedroom so we opened the windows at night and could hear some street noise. The bathroom has a toilet in a separate room which is common in some European hotels. I would still highly recommend the Regent Petite France hotel.

The hotel location was perfect for our trip. It is the heart of the historic center of the city which was ideal with our three young children. We could wander and explore knowing that we were never that far from the comfort of our own room. The breakfast and service was outstanding and because it was Christmas season they gave treats to the children each day!

Everything was wonderful. There was a strange smell near the elevator. It think that was our only complaint but it certainly would not be something that would keep us from returning or recommending the hotel to others.

For the Petite France area, the hotel is in the best, most scenic spot possible. We visited Strasbourg for our 30th wedding anniversary and just loved the room, which overlooked the river and included a complimentary bottle of sparking wine. The room was extremely quiet; we didn't hear any neighbors our entire 5 night stay. We also really loved the old, exposed beams built for the original ice factory. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning our room, and would visit each evening to ask us if we needed anything else, which was really nice. Overall, it might've been the best place we've ever stayed in Europe!

Nothing major. During several days, when we exited the lift from our floor onto the main corridor there was a terrible odor. The front desk said it was the kitchen. To us, it smelled more like the sewer, and not something you would normally smell in any hotel, much less a 5 star hotel. Also, we didn't see any price list for the mini bar and ended up paying for a couple bags of nuts that we thought were free. At checkout, we were also required to pay a city tax, which we also thought was included in the upfront room cost that we paid for prior to our visit.

The location couldn’t be better. It’s right in the middle of the historic old town and the view from our room was absolutely stunning. Plenty of great restaurants in walking distance.

Upon our arrival our car was received by the valet. Unfortunately, nobody told us about the EUR 40 daily parking fee, or that there is a discounted EUR 30 for the outside parking lot. I don’t mind paying, but tell us I’m advance, especially if the fee is that high and if there are options.

Boutique hotel in a former ice factor. Perfect getaway for couples with lovely balcony overlooking the canals and locks of La Petite France district. Fantastic roof top spa which we could book for an hour. Also parking at front door was available.

Showers are small and tend to flood the bathroom if you don’t manage it carefully. The champagne bar and lovely terrace of the restaurant was closed at the time we booked.

The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood and close to many attractions. You can walk almost everywhere. It was a 15 minute walk from the train station and when we arrived, our room was ready. We also really liked the spa with a view on the canal. The sauna and other amenities in the spa were great.

Kind of a big hotel, we had to walk pretty far to get to our room but it made our stay very quiet (which is good). Not much ventilation in the bathroom and the room decor is pretty old but other than that, great hotel.

The location is perfect for a city trip to Strasbourg and everything can be reached by walk easily. the spa facilities are very nice as well. The room was good in size but a bit outdated. the staff is friendly and helpful.

The upfront communication could be better as many messages were in French (although previous contact happened in English) and some replies were very delayed. However, once there communication was without any problems.
