Hôtel Raymond 4 Toulouse

The hotel is centrally located with easy walking access to the central parts of the city, bus and rail connections and the area and indeed the city felt quite safe, the room was very comfortable and the sound level at night was lovely and quiet. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows and blankets supplied, but weren't needed as the room was quite well heated. The bathroom was clean and serviceable with a strong shower and a hairdryer. No safe in the room . Breakfast is continental buffet type with plenty of choice, but is extra to the room rate. If you have a car then use the hotel parking as on street parking is scarce. I will be coming back Toulouse and will definitely stay at the Raymond 4 again.

The man at the reception displayed incredible kindness towards us. He assisted with our check-in around 10 pm working the night shift. With an early morning flight ahead, we found ourselves at the reception by 5 am. Observing the man awake and seated in the lobby, I approached him. Although the airport was a 15-minute walk away and we had a considerable amount of luggage to drag, I inquired about the direction to the airport. Upon seeing our luggage, he promptly responded, "Don't worry, I'll give you a ride in my car." He mentioned that he had been awake for his morning prayers. I strongly recommend that the man be considered for a raise.

It's a nice, calm and quiet hotel, close to the rail station as well as to the city center...Added advantage is its inhouse parking facility which we utilised...Bed is comfortable to get good sleep...Breakfast is of working type, but sufficient...Staffs are quite friendly...

Lift is of a little size for 2-3 persons since it's a old building...Otherwise, everything was OK with us, nothing to complain...

The location of the hotel is not immediately an advantage, but it is easily accessible and has its own garage. We were travelling by bicycle and had no problem parking it (for a fee). There are some simple restaurants in the area and a good organic bakery for a good breakfast. Also, the bus station is 50 metres down the street (with connection to the airport), and from there you can walk straight into the centre. Shopping streets and cafes of your choice. The hotel is modern, tastefully decorated and has excellent service. People with pets are welcomed but we didn't notice anything in our room. Great room with two chairs, desk, large bed and enough storage space. Air conditioning in the room was welcome as it was 37 degrees outside. We would recommend this hotel for couples (possibly with pets) who want to visit Toulouse and arrive by any mode of transport (the TGV train station is across the street). Simple but good hotel that presents value for money.

The bathroom was a bit small. Unfortunately no fridge in the room to cool things down, but there was a kettle for instant coffee. We didn't take breakfast but the room for it looked a bit dull

The hotel receptionists were really friendly to us. They provided printing and communicated with us friendly during our whole stay. The room was cleaned thoroughly everyday which we appreciate a lot, and the location of it is really nice. We only needed to walk 10 minutes to the city centre or 8 minutes to the train station.

The only problem that mattered was that the wifi was really poor. We had to rely on our own data. Please deal with it! The room was a little small but we did not care about that so that was OK. One more thing: We noticed no safe box in the room mentioned in the website introduction. Except for these everything was perfect!

Pleasant staff, great location, nice large room size with storage and a large bathroom. Close to the city centre but really quiet road with no traffic noise. My room was next to the stairs but there was a small lobby between main room door and another inner door to the bedroom so again very quiet. I would stay here again, good value for money. This is obviously converted from an old grand residence which I always like as adds to character. This was the fourth hotel I had stayed in a week of travelling but was my favourite. The kettle and tea facilities added to what other hotels sadly lacked

Room was huge but like many older hotels could do with an upgrade. Apart from that, all good.

We arrived on the Saturday for a charity race on the Sunday. The reception staff went out of their way to help us - from letting us check in early, leave our bags, have somewhere to change on Sunday after our race. They were cheerful and interested and welcoming. Our rooms were good, beds very comfortable and everything was clean and cared for.

The staff were very friendly. It was a simple check in and check out process. The room was comfortable with proper air conditioning.

The area was very central however if you walk some streets to the right of the hotel I didn't feel completely safe as a girl solo travelling. This is not the hotels fault but just wanted to leave a note for others who may stay here.

The hotel = Very good continental breakfast. Friendly staff and excellent location for city walks. City = An attractive city and worth another visit. Lots of history.

National holidays. Many city services close down. Minimum transport links. Tourist sites also close down!Also! Some unrest with demonstrations in the main streets due to government forced law changes in France.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Raymond. We were there only one night and the location made it possible to see a bit of the city on foot, Our room was comfortable, The reception was friendly and helpful, Parking at the hotel was convenient, We would like to visit Toulouse again and this is where we'll stay,

Everything was fine.
