Golden Tulip Borjomi

The hotel has a perfect location. Stuff is very friendly, mostly the lady at the reception. Breakfast is nice. Room is clean. Spa is very good, mostly the jacuzzi.

The lady at the reception was very kind. I stayed at the hotel for the weekend and she was the only person I could see at the reception. I’m not sure she slept at night. It was unpleasant to me to see her doing the duties that were not her obligation: fixing remote control, bringing us forgotten objects at the spa. I appreciate her effort but I’m rather angry about the administration. I think they are saving money on her behalf as a result of a modern slavery …

The surrounding environment is excellent for walking and enjoying a full array in contact with nature. The personnel is available to help and resolve the problems if any. They are also ensuring everything is good since the very early stage (I can't remember when it was the last time a receptionist called me to check my room was ok, but they did). The shower is really big.

The breakfast buffet is not super rich, but the second day not being a buffet style was a bit disorienting and choosing what to eat was not easy. Being an historical building, you can see the signs of wear and tear, but nothing really major as the hotel is apparently under constant maintenance. Indeed,I did not like the folded bed visible next to the staircase when moving upstairs to the second floor they should be stored appropriately.

The hotel has a great location and looks lovely from outside. We enjoyed the complimentary jacuzzi, steam and sauna as it was a private experience. They had a good breakfast. Be sure to take the hotel tour to see their decorated balcony which is otherwise not accessible

One of the queen rooms was a little small and seemed like was in a need of a refresh i.e. room carpets seemed a little old. Also the way from room to restaurant or to reception is an open corridor (due to an open courtyard in the center of the hotel) so its like stepping out into the open as soon as you open the room door.

Our stay was terrific! The hotel is located perfectly, right near the entrance to the Central Park, yet at the distance from the hustle of the tourist market down the street. The building is a true masterpiece, it was a real pleasure to stay there and touch a piece of history. The staff was absolutely great and super friendly: we arrived with our dog, and they were able to accommodate us and were very kind toward our fur baby. Also, I really loved the breakfast (pancakes are delicious!). All in all, I'd say that this is a great choice for a weekend getaway.

More towel hooks/holders in the bathroom would be nice. But in reality, this was just a tiny inconvenience.

We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was fabulous. The spa is cosy and really nice to use. We decided to stay a further night. The staff were very helpful in finding us two rooms for the extra night although we had to downgrade to a standard room to do so. What an amazing location and a very beautiful building - the best in Borjomi.

Breakfast is a bit sparse on selection but enough to fill up first thing in the morning. Bed in a standard room is not so comfortable. A few ongoing maintenance issues around the building but in fairness, it is a palace being run as a hotel.

Room was very hot even though the heater was off , I believe the whole was heated through one system . Even when we opened the window it was so hot . Temperature outside was around 4c . Privacy in the rooms needs to be improved , even with curtains are closed still people outside the room can see everything inside . In general such comments will not stop me from staying at this amazing hotel again and again

Magnificent hotel. It is located in good restored building of the 19th century. Good spa service. Wonderful staff who went to help with all our questions. Delicious room service and breakfast food. Good for short trips.

We had windows on the terrace/corridor due to the fact that they are wooden soundproofing is not very good. We heard other guests (as they us I guess) passing by or sitting on the chairs on the terrace. This did not cause us much inconvenience, as the trip was quite short. But for more privacy, take a room with a view of the city/mountains.

შესანიშნავი სასტუმროა, ძალიან კარგი ადგილმდებარეობით. არის ისტორიული, მე-19 საუკუნის ძალიან ლამაზი უცხო შენობა, აზიურ სტილში. გარემო არის ძაალიან მშვიდი და წყნარი. ახალი წლის პერიოდში ვესტუმრეთ, ირგვლივ ყველაფერი თოვლით გადათეთრებული, საღამოობოთ ფერადი გარე განათებებით მორთული მთელი უბანი, რომელიც მდინარე მტკვარს მიუყვება ძალიან ზღაპრული იყო. წყვილებისთვის იდეალური გარემოა. საუზმეც გემრიელი, ბლინი შოკოლადით სუპერ!

Small hotel with few rooms (20 or less), very beautiful yard inside, fancy canteen with amazing windows (especially in the sunny morning). Very quiet during April, but maybe in the summer it could be louder (there are few small summer cafes outside). In case of room with windows which are at the street side you can hear river! Spa is amazing too, one night = one hour, so we spent two hours in one day for two nights of staying (possible opportunity if no one else wants to book it in this time). And what’s special — there were only me and my partner!

The best and most beautiful hotel in Borjomi. Great service and help from staff. We stayed on lux and it was amazing experience especially central balcony that you have in this room. Hotel clean. Staff very helpful as I started allergy on cleaning staff they easily find other number. Breakfast can be improved but it’s not a big deal in Georgia where you can eat tasty food everywhere. It was really pleasure for us be in this hotel
