B&B Hotel Berlin-Tiergarten

The room was big, with 3 beds. Very good for families. The bathroom was also big with accessibility for people with disabilities. The view was wonderful and peaceful. We had free parking on the street!!!!! The locking system was interesting - no card or key, but a code! Renting bicycles was possible - the bikes were very qualitative and the price was reasonable. Pretty far away, close to Tiergarten, but the transportation system is very good. S-Bahn Tiergarten is 5 minutes away from the hotel and leads directly to the center.

No fridge. Not enough power plugs.

* Great value for the money, was expecting a little bit less. * The room was clean and got cleaned every day. * Location is great, there is a public transit station very close by (5 min walk) that has a direct line to the airport. * Large windows with a nice view.

* No slippers in the hotel room. * No fridge in the room. * No kettle to make coffee or tea. * No sewing kit, toothpaste, or other stuff like that.

The hotel is conveniently located if you are travelling by car as there is plenty of space around the hotel at least during the weekend and in the evening. There are no restaurants immediately close by but we took the S-train to get around, which was only a short walk away. Our room was spacious, clean and extremely quiet. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok but basic.

Our room was very cold because of a broken lid on the ventilation system above the window. Unfortunately there was no handyman on site to check it. We were offered to move rooms though.

I recently stayed at the B&B Hotel Berlin in Berlin and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The hotel is conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to get around the city. The rooms are clean, comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend the B&B Hotel Berlin to anyone visiting Berlin. The combination of comfortable rooms, and a convenient location make it a top choice for travelers and great value of money.

It would be nice to have a toothpaste in the bathroom and normal cups, not the paper ones, as it is only one usage and is very uncomfortable.

Over the last 40 years I have travelled extensively (mainly for my work) and stayed at hotels in the UK, around Europe, and in other parts of the world. There are several things I look for in a hotel, and the B & B Hotel Berlin-Tiergarten had everything I was looking for: 1. My room needs to be really clean. It was. 2. My room needs to be a reasonable size, but it doesn't need to be huge. Mine was fine. 3. The bed should be comfortable. Mine was. 4. There should be a good, adjustable shower. Mine was. 5. Wifi should be reliable. It was. 6. If staying in hot weather, having properly functioning air conditioning is essential. The weather in Berlin was hot and the air conditioning worked very efficiently. 7. A TV is not essential for me, but I was pleased to see that it had the UK's Sky News channel, and a Sky Sports channel. 8. I need at least a small desk to work on. There was one in the room. 9. I prefer a room without noise from outside. Even though there was a busy road not too far away, there was almost no noise in the room. 10. The location of the hotel is excellent. It's only 5 minutes walk from Tiergarten station. You can get to and from Brandenburg Airport on the S-Bahn (S9 line) in 55 minutes with no changes needed. From June to August (in 2022) you can buy a ticket in the airport which can be used for an unlimited number of trips on any form of public transport, valid for 1 month, at a cost of only 9 euros. Fantastic value for money! 11. Tiergarten is a lovely area in which to walk. Well worth spending an hour two there.

Almost nothing. It's not an area to find many restaurants but that's no problem. Get on a train at Tiergarten and you can be in other places (such as Friedrichstrasse), where there are plenty of restaurants, in 10-15 minutes.

Breakfast was satisfying, but we missed some hot dishes like e.g. omelette, or sausages. The room is comfy and there is everything needed. The level of comfort of this hotel fits a short journey.

Next time I would prefer location of hotel closer to some cafes and places for walking, more lively district so to say. This location is perfect for a short stay, but if you want to walk the city, you need to pass not very attractive districts, but it is not a huge problem. There is a big supermarket close enough to the hotel if needed, we found it very convenient as arrived late and wanted to get some food.

The hotel is easily accessible and close to the S-Bahn station. The room was clean, calm and comfortable (very comfy bed), and relatively spacious. Breakfast was nice and had a large diversity of choices. I arrived late and was glad to see that someone is always at the front desk!

In my room, some odours were coming from the canalisation at times. And I would have also liked fresh water in the room instead of getting a water bottle from the vending machine.

The Windowview and bathroom were nice. The bathroom was quite big. The way to the next train station/subway is roughly a five minute walk, and there was a garage.

As we were checking in, there were some fees we had to pay, even tho we paid online beforehand. Would have liked to know that I'll have to pay those too when arriving. Staff seemed a bit unorganized. There was also a small stain on my bed sheets, which seemed to be blood. A bit gross...

Early check-in without fuss or complaint, large room with comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with excellent hot shower. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Room overlooking car park at rear was delightfully quiet. Room clean and modern

Noisy canteen style dining hall on arrival deterred me from using facilities. Seemed to be full of students which made it seem more like a student hostel not that there was anything wrong with that it was just a surprise, as was the fact that room numbers are not in sync with floor numbers. Ie rooms beginning with 7 are actually on floor 6. Not that it matters unless the lift is not working and you have to walk up with your cases

Mostly very good. Quick Check-in, quiet, nice staff and super clean room and a good location. Had a good stay and a good nights sleep. Been there there for an appointment at nearby TU-Berlin, so it was for work, not tourism. But, knowing Berlin, i'd recommend this Hotel for touristy stays anytime.

Not much but come on - I paid 80 something Euro for a hotel room and have to pay 1,80 per coffee in the morning, just because I did not book the (rather typical German-style) breakfast thing?
