Henri Hotel Berlin Kurfürstendamm

The hotel is located in a great area, with easy access to shops and restaurants. The lobby is lovely and quiet in the evenings and has a cute little bar. The breakfast is really tasty and offers a nice selection. The rooms are nice, though they were quite small even though we booked and paid for a Chambre Double room (we suspect we were given the incorrect room, which had happened on our previous stay).

Though the staff were overall friendly, there was one particularly staff member who was very unfriendly and not welcoming. Whenever we asked for something, he would barely acknowledge us and act as though we were causing him an inconvenience - it was really unpleasant to interact with him. All other staff that we encountered were lovely though so this was really a shame.

Close to all the shops on Kudamm, the Henri offers exceptional value for money while being the perfect combination of stylish and nicely quaint. The perfect antidote to corporate hotels which all look the same, or so-called boutique hotels that suffer from the same cope/paste Pinterest derived interior design. This one has a unique character, great staff, nice rooms and an OK breakfast. Will definitely return.

My large double bed was comprised of two beds, which slid apart at night and made me fall into the resulting gap/hole. Breakfast should offer more veggie options, or cooked options like oatmeal.

Beautiful hotel with period features. Staff very friendly and really nice hotel bar area serving lovely drinks. Location was in easy reach of the U-Bahn and the main road for shops and restaurants.

We weren’t overly impressed with the breakfast,could have had a few more items eg smoked salmon, scrambled eggs etc.Hardly anyone used the hotel bar so it had no atmosphere,it could be advertised more as very comfortable with good drinks!

The breakfast was good and catered for all tastes and was well presented. The room was, some would say on the small side, but was clean and tidy and suited my needs. The location was ideal being within a short walk the Kaiser .- Wilhelm - Gedachtniskirche and good transport links.

Very well situated for shopping, travel to other parts of the city due to it's close proximity to rail and underground. Characterful room. The bedding looked a bit light weight, but the duvet was warm in use. Nice bathroom.

Colour of the room, Pale pink, could be a warmer feel.

NIce Old Building and Room with very high ceiling. Nice Illy espresso maker with free espresso capsules. Comfy bed, water bottle included. Friendly reception.

Not a big deal but very long walk to the room. Nobody mentioned option to take the front staircase ending directly at the room. Little bit of mold in shower caulking.

great staff, good food and perfect location. the style of the hotel and the design is amazing. but there id s big problem. The flooring in the room is terribly annoying.

Unfortunately the Abendbrot wasn't served whilst we were there, which was a shame because we were keen to try it before going to a concert. Slightly disappointing (we had to make some quick other plans), but no big deal. Everything else was lovely!

Super high 14 foot ceilings and giant wooden doors in a pre-war building unaffected by Allied bombing. The people there are super friendly and helpful. The location is spectacular. The breakfast was fantastic. Great mattress. Very quiet. Didn’t hear a thing all night. Property is complete opposite of boring corporate chain hotels. Easy access to S and U Bahn.

They use “old school” giant and heavy keys identifying the hotel and your room number, which is seriously unreasonable as a security issue. They need to switch to card keys. The elevator is super claustrophobic. No parking. The public parking garage across the street (unrelated to the hotel) is a dark, weird chaotic dump.

Beautiful building of 1930 time. Well conserved. The breakfast thing room was especially beautiful and staff of breakfast room were very nice.

The room’s bathroom was too small especially the wash hands place. Not convenient. The receptionists are not so friendly but ok.
