Relexa Hotel Bellevue an der Alster

Great location for visiting Hamburg. Along the Alster so good for walking around the lake and in the street behind the hotel lots of eating places. It is a convenient 3 stop bus ride from Hamburg central station. The hotel had a section across the courtyard which was not facing the busy road and made for a quieter position. Didn't try the breakfast but plenty of choices nearby.

Nothing much- the hotel met my expectations. No air-conditioning during a hot spell in Hamburg but this would have been asking too much as very few places in Europe have air con.

A very nice hotel in a great location for St. George. Has a quiet little courtyard to sit outside with a coffee or a drink. Room was spacious and the bed nice and firm. There is on site parking for 12 euros per night. If you have an EV, there are 3 chargers available at no extra cost (1 for Tesla, 2 for other EVs).

Unfortunately there is no control with the parking. This means that petrol cars will take the spaces for EV cars. The spaces were simply occupied. We left our phone number at reception so that they could call us when the car could be moved, but this never happened. So check yourself, a space will open up. Fix this issue, and we will definately return.

Overall a pretty good experience. Hotel room had a comfortable size, good beds and very clean! Very quiet during night time, we could sleep with open windows without problems. Although U- and S-Bahn are a bit far off, there is a bus stop 2 minutes from the hotel with buses running to Hauptbahnhof every few minutes. So easy to get around, and nice to be close to both Alster (boat trips etc) and Lange Reihe with loads of shops and restaurants.

Staff friendliness and quality quite 'uneven' and thus unpredictable. Very quick responses to mails, for instance (and great help there), and I borrowed the concerge's own charger for the cell phone when I had forgotten my own. But when, for instance, the hotel wrongly had charged other guests' consumption to our room, there was no apology but rathern an insinuation that it was my own fault, and that we should have told the hotel quicker. Overall a 'disoorganised' hotel. As above regarding bills, total 'chaos' during breakfast beacause they were understaffed etc. A lot of noise from the corridors during day-time.

Nice room in a quiet area, a minute walk from the Lange Reihe with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Good size room for it being a one person room. The room is nicely decorated and has a comfy seat.

At €18 the breakfast is a bit expensive in my view. The parking garage entrance looked very narrow, I didn't even try to use it. The Wifi connection was on and off in my room.

I stayed in the hotel for weekend. The room was small, but very clean and had everything i needed. The internet in the room worked perfectly. You have to ask at the reception regarding the internet connection. The internet was free of charge. The receptionists were just great. Gave us a lot of good tips.

The small problem is with the parking place. It can't be booked in advance. Works on the principle first come, first served. So, you have to have that in mind. It would be much better if it could be booked in advance.

Cozy, comfortable, spacious and clean room in a charming and well maintained old Art Noveau building, oozing old times grandezza. Windows in our room could be opened, which was great after a hot day. Bonus: mosquito net in front of the windows. Our room to the back was surprisingly quiet on a Sat night, we even slept with the windows open (4th floor). Very friendly reception! Convenient location.

Be aware that parking on the property is limited. People parking their car outside the designated parking do not make it any easier to get your car in / out of the designated spaces.

My single room had a balcony which was lovely! The trees beside the lake do block the view but it was still very nice to have. The location right beside the lake is a luxury location and if the hotel was renovated and cleaner then it would be charging much more I think. The bed was clean and comfortable with super fluffy blankets. Reception was nice!

The balcony and the single chair and table out there was dirty so you could not really sit out there .

The location of the hotel was great - 10 minutes to central of Hamburg by walk and walking path is near the lake. There is a parking area for hotel. You need to turn around the hotel at back street to enter parking area. The room was quite good, enjoyed while we are staying. Bathroom was clean.

mini fridge was missing in the room, but it was okay.

the location on the Am See and 15 minutes walk from the center is really excellent, especially given private, garage parking innthe hotel is available for’a reasonable charge.

At that price point I think breakfast should be included. the garage is quite small and full, and you can not reserve a space.

Very nice location, staff spoke English well, Cody building, nice airy light and clean rooms, very nice bathroom. We’ve stayed here once before and liked it then as well, but this time we had an even nicer room. Very good value for money.
