Holiday Inn Express - Krefeld - Dusseldorf, an IHG Hotel

A very decent and reasonably-priced hotel, not much to say as I literally just stayed the night after a concert and had the breakfast the next day before hitting the road back. But I can definitely say the rooms were comfortable and clean, the service staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was more than decent.

The only negative is that breakfast was supposed to be available till xx:00 (I am not sure anymore if it was 10 or 11), the staff started taking away some of the products at :50 and cleaning, sending some customers away (in a polite way, but still...). Maybe you should just communicate the breakfast times a bit better. But other than that breakfast was decent.

I liked very much the buffet breakfast, which was plenty. Also the rooms and hotel was very clean and modern. And the big bed was so cosy, I never slept better in a hotel room. Thank you so much. ❤️

There wasn't a proper bar in this hotel, and no restaurant for lunch or dinner. And I dislike the powder Milk for Coffee and tea in the room. I don't see the point to be charged for parking, when this hotel is in middle of nowhere.

Nothing spectacular about this hotel but if you’re looking for good and basic with no frills, it’s a great stay. The room was clean and well serviced each day. The bed was comfortable and the desk in the room was a convenient add.

They didn’t offer a laundry service or restaurant. Closest restaurant is a few km’s away so you have to take a taxi.

It's a new and clean hotel, with good accessibility and well thought out rooms. Breakfast was good quality and great for a quick stay. De staff was nice and helpful.

Parking was paid, or free at the side of the road. The location is fine for a quick stay, but it's in the middle of a big industrial area with a lot of big company buildings. Accessibility is fine by car, but not so much by other modes of transport.

Brand new hotel, the rooms are modern and clean. Rooms have all the facilities locker, air conditioning, ironing, comfortable chair for watching TV or working, lots of USB charging ports. Onsite parking is available. Breakfast is good.

Could be mini bar or at least supply of water bottle in the room. Small pod Coffee machine would be nice to have. Location is a bit outside of everything, you need to drive a bit to find restaurants and shops.

In general new hotel,cozy and warm room.

Booked room with sofa bed(didn't get one),but because it was just 1 night stay we didn't bother to complain. Too busy at breakfast time(simply no place for everybody). Personal at reception could use more mannerism for their foreign guests and wish their guests pleasant stay at check in or simple Thank you at check uit!

The hotel was clean and fairly new. There was security to get up the elevator. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The location is a little far out for seeing town. The bus fares are not easy to understand. It is perfect if you have a car or have work/business in the area.

Selection of food was typical for German hotels, plentiful and good. The staff were excellent, particularly at check in. Hotel was lovely and clean and excellent value for money. Would stay there again.

Seating arrangements at breakfast time could do with a rethink particularly when it is busy.

New hotel with comfortable rooms, conveniently located in between the business district and a large area of woodlands. There was a minor inconvenience which was resolved instantly in a friendly and professional manner.

The broad selection of (European) breakfast options would have been perfect with a small additional selection of hot breakfast options.

Modest breakfast, but there was everything that would be good to eat.Spacious rooms with space to work ironing board and iron in the room hotel in a quiet location very good option for the price

I don’t understand why they don’t make doors in the shower, water on the floor is constantly because of this
