Eurostars Park Hotel Maximilian

The overal lobby and dining room gives u a rich and welcome feel. The staff is kind and likes to assist; we were given a knife, fork and plates to enjoy our custom cake. The minibar had a decent capacity to even store the cake! The breakfast is totally a highlight, having a nice room to eat in, with a widely variety of things to eat.

While the hotel tries to aim for a victorian style all through to the room, the room itself kinda lacks with the only remotely decoration being the upper sides on the ceiling, the view was behind the building, facing directly onto another building, u can't even look down. The room also is equipped without an AC and the only thing to remotely get it cooler is with a standing fan, which made the nights a bit uncomfortable. There isn't any heaters either so not sure how they do it during colder days.

The breakfast was really the part of the stay that felt most like being in a former palace. It was a lovely room with a nice variety of foods. The staff that checked us in was so friendly and super helpful with recommendations for restaurants and things to do, plus how to get there! It was nice to be right beside a park.

The hallways looked so non-palace like and the outside seems in need of renovating. It really detracted from the whole experience. The parking lot underground seemed a little unsafe - dark and empty.

Hotel is conveniently located just at the borders of the pedonal area. Parking available but at an extra cost. Good breakfast with th e traditional 'international' items Kind pesonnel.

The building is very old and it shows. Carpet in the corridor is worn. The bench to put luggage on is in a very strange position almost closing access to one side of the bed: fortunately it could be moved.

Really nice hotel just a short walk from the cathedral square. Room was very comfy, spacious and clean. We haven't had any issues with noise, despite this central location. Parking garage is a plus. Breakfast was fine, good selection, no complaints here. Overall, highly recommended, I would pick this hotel once again.

Underground garage is fine for a compact car, I expect people with large SUV will have issues getting in. Also overall, building may require some renovation, inside & outside. When that happens, it's gonna be worth 5 stars for sure.

The building has lots of history and has lots of character. it has been maintained and renovated to keep it’s original look and feel for guests. what makes it especially nice is the staff: welcoming, helpful, professional, and some of the friendliest we’ve met. our Deutsch is not so good, and they instantly changed to Englisch for us with big warm smiles. The breakfast room and lobby are amazing and the background music was always soothing.

The room’s bathroom design was a bit odd, but modern, clean, and functional.

The location of the hotel is a short distance from the station and close to the pedestrian area so was great for exploring this historic city. The staff were very helpful and allowed us into our rooms early to drop off our bags . The rooms were large, modern and comfortable with high ceilings. It is a historic building and the breakfast room was stunning.

There is no outdoor space to relax and limited facilities (eg bar, restaurant, fitness room). Being a historic building there is no air conditoning, which could be an issue in summer.

Every aspect of the interior of the hotel was a wonderful. The breakfast was amazing. However what made the say so extremely pleasure was the wonderful staff. The front office & those with breakfast. Every staff member on every shift when we were there were to happy & helpful. The best staff so far on our holiday inn Europe !

Maybe the front of the hotel ( 'pond' type area ) could be improved a little as well as the carpark. Also adding air conditioning would be fabulous. However the staff made up for any other short falls.

Our room was spacious, with high ceiling. The front desk staff were friendly, they gave us good advices on what to see in the city. The location is perfect - just on the border of the old town. Everything is within walking distance. And the breakfast was just superb.

If there was a coffee maker in the room, it would have been even better.

The hotel gives off a palacial feeling. The rooms have a very high ceeling and huge windows. Rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Had a nice Bavarian breakfast that was rather amiable. The garage is a pluss in the middle of city center.

The entry to the underground garage is a bit steep and narrow if you have one of the larger SUV's. Otherwise it is just fine for other cars.

I choose the hotel purly by it's location and the breakfast review :) The location is very nice, only 3 minutes walk from train station and also very easy to walk to city center Breakfast was really good, the dinning area is very beautiful, and with many choices, especially the bacon was the way i love it!
