The breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was spot on

The beds were a bit tired and the bathroom was a bit old

Beautiful town with a lovely dock and a large promenade. With a lots of monuments, archaeological sites and nice taverns. The sea is very clean, full of fish, sandy beaches that are close to the hotel. The hotel is located in lovely, quiet and peaceful place 200-300 m from the town center. The garden in front of the hotel is decorated with lots of flowers and greenery, which we particularly liked. The breakfast is excellent, and a special atmosphere os provided by the breakfast in the garden, as well as the staff who are very kind and accomodating.

I liked everything about this hotel - the location by the sea, the friendly but courteous staff, and the room with its view of both the park and the sea. I thought it was a great idea that the hotel offered a basic fixed breakfast, but with the option, if wanted, to pay for extra items - a sensible way of avoiding the food waste that I am sure must accompany a lavish buffet breakfast. I also tried the hotel’s fixed price evening meal - it was delicious and very good value!

For me the location was perfect and well placed for exploring the interesting area on foot. Perhaps the only difficulty was the lack of public transport - a taxi was needed to get from and to the nearest port at Marmari.

Amazing location. Discreet and helpful staff at the front desk, servers where mostly polite. Room was sparkling clean but the ac units were old and one was out of order. Breakfast was ok. We had dinner one night, food wasn’t good unfortunately. The location is awesome though and the hotel although the facilities are old, is clean, well run and well maintained. Also the staff was very accommodating towards families with small children! All in all, we’d most definitely stay here again if we are in Karystos.

A great location and beautiful sea view. Very responsive stuff, changed our room (the first had a terrible cigarette smoke), advised how to plan our day trip, added eggs to breakfast for free

Terrible mattress (at least in our room), breakfast is very plain - bread, butter, jam, piece of cheese, cake, honey, tea or coffee (cappuccino is extra charge), fresh orange juice, water and that’s it. To the owners - if you change the mattresses and upgrade the breakfast (and of course charge a bit more) - you would be the best, 10 out of 10!

Excellent value. Rooms are basic but comfortable, cleaned every day. The communal areas are beautiful, with a comfortable bar verandah and dining area overlooking the bay. The restaurant is top quality, with included breakfast meeting all expectations. Small, family owned and run with staff able to address any issues personally. A real find.

Not much. Service variable at certain times of day, but completely understandable.

Well equipped, clean rooms with all facilities you would expect. The location is excellent, between the best beach in town a landscaped garden and the area with all restaurants. The staff (especially at breakfast) were extremely kind and personable. It was so good we rebooked and returned for another week!

The breakfast was good (table service on the terrace overlooking the garden) but the daily menus was quite bread heavy.

Location is fantastic by the sea and quiet location. The ground floor café /restaurant where breakfast is served is in front of a dutiful garden overlooking the sea. Bedfast is served not a buffet that was nice. Quality of breakfast was good. Staff was polite and friendly. Location is just 3-5 minutes walk from the main seaside port. There is a beach next to the hotel walking distance, parking and a charging station for electric car. In every floor you can find a water machine for cold water.

Hotel is an old building partially renovated. Parts not yet renovated could benefit if renovated.

Clean hotel with great staff. ideally located for all that Karystos has to offer. Good breakfast served overlooking the sea we stayed in one of their upgraded ground floor rooms which had a large terrace and a wonderful bathroom The staff deserve a medal for having to deal with some of their guests

Thought the room was slightly overpriced for what it offers. It looks great - but it is impractical for a long stay as their is limited space for clothes. The terrace would benefit from some cover from the afternoon sun.

The room, the balcony, the sea view, the sound of the sea, the sea breeze, the bed, and the staff. No traffic. No road between hotel and park and sea. Definitely worth more than a one-night stand.

Music a little too loud at breakfast. Limited offerings from the kitchen in shoulder season. Shower curtain fell outside the shower area. Messy.
