Thermae Sylla Spa & Wellness Hotel

We know well the hotel as we have been going for years , It is always good but there is room for improvement as the prices have gone up. The breakfast is excellent . Great staff at dining rooms and reception and cleaning ladies .

Smoking should be banned from around the outside thermal pool and confined to the pool bar behind. In crowded times, there should be a second pool supervisor so that both pools are attended . There should be continuus and not alternating pool bubbling spots. There used to be a very nice doorman at hotel entry , but not any more and he is missed .

WiFi was simply non existant on the first floor...!! At breakfast, personnel was eager to remove our plates while we were still seated. On ground floor our room "with view to the pool", meant a room with a half size window towards the pool (through some bushes)... We had to pay anything it cost to upgrade to a room on any floor to get at least a balcony. Rooms on ground floor should not be presented as they are actually presented by the hotel.

This experience for me as a patient with chronic spinal nerve pain was extremely therapeutic for me . The temperatures of the hydro massage pools were perfect . The atmosphere was soothing for me , relaxing and my intention there was also to take “care of myself” , relieve daily stresses and take advantage of the exceptional services at Thermae Sylla spa .

Nothing really stands out to me that I didn’t like to be honest .

Fantastic old building, surrounding, pool and treatment. Nice room with sea view. White deck to the sea, We loved it. Very good restaurant, modern dishes, but service should be better.

Management should look at calendar, we are in 2021. Breakfast must be upgraded. Ola fashion way of serving food. Cold/old egg dishes, only filter coffee. They have beautiful rooms, but ambience is not there. Should be easy to improve.

The breakfast was excellent - first-class choice of freshly cooked eggs, pies and savouries. Excellent coffee and a range of healthy juices. Plus a good range of sweet cakes eg pain au raisin, cheesecake etc. The Spa facilities and service were first-rate and we also loved swimming from the decking area as well as in the central pool area.

It would have been good to have tea & coffee making facilities in the room.

Very nice hotel, great pools, amazing breakfast. Hotel is very clean and staff, especially in breakfast area, were amazing. Spacious room and bathroom. Very nice location.

We were there in April and aircon didn't work to cool down the room. We had to open the window to cool it down. Also main restaurant wasn't open.

We really enjoyed our entire stay. The breakfast was very good, with so many options. And friendly staff, in the breakfast and the front desk. We loved the pool and the location close to the outdoor thermal pools. The exercise in the pool was great. This was our 2nd stay at this amazing hotel, and i will definitely stay here again!

Floating in the thermal pools that seemed the perfect temperature. Very good breakfast, nice room. Indoor and outdoor pools were both very enjoyable.

Hotel is a bit pricey, but worth the splurge. The town was a bit gritty, workaday, even a bit run down, but hadn’t really opened for the season yet- cold spring.

Great location, very polite staff, beautiful building. The spa is a certain plus.

Breakfast was fine, but nothing above the average. The staff was very polite but not enough for all the guests, and they seemed rather burnt out (we visited the hotel during a bank holiday but surely off season). There was no control in the indoor pool, thus some guests were entering the pool without passing through the entrance, where you take an obligatory shower.

Me and my friend really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, such a blessing to have 2 warm pools (around 32-34 degrees) in October, when it is already a bit cold to swim in the sea. Having a natural thermal spring near sea in front of our hotel was also a nice surprise. The hotel is situated in a calm, nice area. I thought it ll take us much longer to get there from Athens, but it was easy, 1,5 hours by car and 40 min by ship. We were staying in a deluxe sea view room, I think it was the best choice! Stunning view and spacious, clean, bright room with nice bathroom. The city itself is small but nice, plenty of restaurants nearby, small promenade along the sea. If you like calm holidays - this place and hotel is a very good choice!

Spa is a bit expensive, sauna is also not for free
