Xenia Hotel

Very clean and bright hotel and the rooms were far nicer and larger than I expected for a hotel right on the main street in the port. The staff are some of the most friendly and most accommodating that I have had. When we needed laundry cleaned they have a service that does your laundry very fast and better than the wife does at home. They even folded my socks and underwear. Dropped it off in the morning and it was done by lunch time. It's right by the main restaurant row so everything is close and a short walk from the ferry. There is even a supermarket that's maybe a 20 second walk from the front door.

There really isn't anything I can think of that I didn't like. Really the only thing I didn't like was the fact that I wasn't able to spend more time on the island and it was cooler than usual. Oh I do wish they would go ahead and put two pillows in per room. That's all I have.

The location is great which is in the town center of Chora. The Room is huge with nice washroom (heater/hair blower/bidet). and there is a balcony which is slightly facing seaside. Overall hotel is clean and they clean the room everyday. Staff is friendly and they were kind enough to give us a kettle as there is no kettle available in the room. All the restaurants, bars, shopping etc are just outside the hotel. You dont even really have to walk 30 seconds and you are already in some of the nice restos in the area.

No kettle is available in the room but hotel staff has given me one so not really a major dislike. Breakfast can be improved as it was just okay. Also, if they can add more pillows.

- great location, only a few minutes from the port and everything is within walking distance - super friendly staff that was so helpful - super easy car rental through the hotel (definitely recommend a car for at least a day to visit Alyko beach. It was phenomenal!) - clean room

- if you are sensitive about noise, then it might not be the right place, since there are bars and restaurants just underneath. However, we slept super well and weren‘t bothered. We would stay there again:)

ILocation was central for towb, port and bus. Receptionist and owner/ manager friendly and very helpful. The receptioist suggested fish restaurant which was extremely good. The best and best and ceapest meal i had in Naxos chora..

Reviews say it is noisy, there was music nearby, but the balcony doors were double glazed and with wooden shutters closed, slept very well. Air conditioning helps for those who like cool air.

Location was excellent, right off of promenade and less than ten minute walk to ferry port and bus terminal. Received upgrade to room facing waterfront upon arrival. Windows blocked out street noise effectively.

Rain drop shower head was covered with mold. However, I was able to use the shower wand which appeared to be clean. Breakfast was o.k. but limited. You had to wear plastic gloves and masks for self-service. Room had faint cigarette smoke smell but wasn't overwhelming.

Location is great and the staff was super helpful with information, cafes to go and with my bag. You have restaurant behind the hotel, however, noise was until around 1am and when I close the doors I could not hear as much.

Room was so small but comfortable. Also you hear the noise from the alley from people from other rooms, but it didn’t bother me.

Clean and roomy. Excellent view of the harbor and sunset. Close to everything but parking. Staff were the best!

Lots of noise from the bar across the street. Sometimes until 2AM and beyond.

The location was fantastic, close to the port, restaurants and nightlife. The staff were accommodating and helpful with our luggage. We would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a central location.
