Ramada by Wyndham Princess Georgetown

Good location between Georgetown and the airport, excellent friendly and welcoming staff and a lovely pool.

I had a an issue with my room but was moved to a larger room so cant complain.

This hotel is ideal for a stop over in Georgetown when travelling on elsewhere. It is a bit outside the centre and so you would need to use a taxi to visit anywhere from here. The room was very spacious and clean with lovely facilities. It was great to have some tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of bottled water to use. The food was reasonable and very nice cocktails. There was a lovely swimming pool though we didn’t have time to use it. Having a cash machine in the lobby was really useful as there aren’t many around!

Some drinking water dispensers would be great to fill up reusable bottles rather than needing to use plastic bottles. The entrance lobby is quite dark and gloomy and doesn’t give a great first impression.

The hotel room was big and comfortable with tv,, Kettle ,balcony and a wonderful view of the Demerara river. It was always clean. Water pressure was good and towels, toilet paper etc were supplied as needed. The casino was fantastic!! Won some money and bought food in the delightful poolside resturant. The Free breakfast was wonderful- a different menu each day-- buffet style-- simply delicious. All the staff were kind , helpful and polite. There is a wonderful gift shop inside the hotel that u can get from clothes to simple medications and staple food items / snacks. The mall across the road from the hotel has all the major food outlets and a Massy grocery and much more. You can get taxis, maxis, etc right in front the hotel. I enjoyed my vacation. GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. I will definitely return to Ramada Princess hotel. Ps- loved that they had a kettle in room so i could make a cup of tea whenever i wanted to. They also supplied tea bags and coffee sticks with coffee mate !! Simply lovely. Keep up the good work.

No face towels in bedroom. Better lighting in bedroom area Need small fridge in room Toilet doors near pool need lock repairs.

The room, the quality of the food and service in general met my expectation. I requested an early "check-in" and this was granted, without a "fuss". I was, however, not happy to see patrons at the buffet table without masks. In this covid-19 pandemic, whether or not we decide to "live" with the virus, because of the severe adverse economic impact we face globally, one must never overlook adhering to basic precautionary measures geared towards reducing the spread of this very transmissible virus.

There should be more cutlery in the room. Also, it might be good to consider replacing the hair dryer in the room with a microwave, which I believe will be more useful for some guests.

Breakfast was pretty good, variety every day and made well.

There is no privacy in the bathroom area. Even though the glass is tinted now you cannot change your clothes if there are male and female family members around. You have to ask them to leave the room or not come to the bathroom area while you are changing. I recommend installing a glass enclosure between the shower stall and toilet to give more privacy to ladies after they take a bath. Glass must also be tinted. My wife and daughter took issue to this design feature.

The room was very spacious and tidy. Room service was good and the staff helpful and courteous. Breakfast was good with several options. I like that there was is access to an ice machine, although I didn't use it.

There were many lights in the room however the main area was not adequately luminated. Considerations should be given to placing a microwave; in each room, in some rooms or on each floor. The tap water was not warm enough.

The style of the rooms was excellent . The design of the room was like staying at a hotel we once stayed In Basilica , Spain but smaller in. scale .

The. hotel needs to be updated . The. bed was in excellent condition. the furniture was old and outdated. The shower was

The moment i entered the premises, I immediately felt a sense of urgency of attention to m needs. The customer service was excellent and the room topped it off. The breakfast and room overall was perfect.

Though the customer service and room was off the charts. I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but it would've been better to have a smart TV in the room given the room rank. Besides everything else was good.

Oh my goodness.. I love the breakfast it was excellent 😋 👌.. I eat twice lol.. the meat was very tender comes off the bone good..breakfast is an an A+.

I didn't like that I had booked a king room an when I got there to check in I was told that room wasn't available an I just had to get what the give me.. next time I'll like an email saying that I got a room change or something.. because I'll like to go back but hopefully everything goes well the next time I book... an I don't like the fact that the staff went in the room.. next time unless I ask then that should happen thank you!

The breakfast was ok there was a variety of things you can choose. However there were flies all over your breakfast . The location is appropriate because it is like a close distance to the town area

The bathroom was leaking and it appears as if there was some damages in the room about and the repairs were not completed. I use the safe and it appears as if someone attempted to over ride our password code and we were locked out
