Actor Hotel Budapest

Was easy to arrive at the hotel from the airport with good transportation options. Staff were friendly and welcoming, plus the room size was larger than the average. In terms of location, it was within walking distance of the bars/restaurants along the river. Around 3.5km from the city centre. Breakfast was decent for a city hotel, but could have had a few more options.

The air conditioning seemed to be out of order, and it was quite noisy, plus there seemed to be no lights in the hallway, at night.

Rooms are huge and some rooms have even a living-room-like seating arrangement. Beds are comfortable. Furniture and bath rooms are already a bit dated. The 2 elevators are roomy and quite new. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Parking is available and can be reached with the elevator (in this area very important, as no public parking for more than 3 hours available) Close by is the cafe Manfréd Pékség. Fantastic bakery. One of the best chocolate croissants we ever had!!!

The location was pretty good. The room was nice and clean, the staff was helpful and polite. Included breakfast was also fine. The hotel itself looks kind of old and out of fashion, but if you are there only to sleep and not admire the architecture it's okay.

There was a group of very drunk Germans who partied until 6 AM, banging on our doors and were very loud and scary. When we complained about it to the staff in the morning, they told us that we should've called them during the night, but since they were aware of the issue (they supposedly threw them out of the hotel) I don't know what the call would change. They should've throw them out a long time ago.

The room was big, with comfortable beds. we got excellent, reach breakfast with even very fresh vegetables and fruits. The staff was friendly and very helpful to our special needs, like charging my GSM or my daughter's gluten allergy. Lovely people!

We were a little disappointed because the restaurant was shut down due to the covid situation and it was also not mentioned on the website. There were also some renovations in the building (that are indeed necessary seeing the state of rooms...) The Interior is indeed outdated though very comfortable...

We really liked our stay at the actor hotel and it was a bargain during the F1 in Budapest. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is clearly actively being updated at the moment which is nice. We had a gorgeous brand new shower etc I’m our room. The beds were clean and comfy. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Budapest!

Our room was quite hot even with air-conditioning on but at 30+ degrees every day can’t complain!

The staff is very kind, the room is spacious and neat, breakfast is good. The hotel location is near the river and public transport. It's pet friendly hotel which was main criteria while searching for an accommodation. They respond quickly to messages with all available info. It is an excellent choice for the families with small children.

Internet connection quality could be much better on the fourth floor, but it served its purpose.

Excelent Location, position very good, quiet hotel, we could rest very good, big room and bed, nice view, also very good breakfast. The personnel was very kind, helpfull and also offered us 1 hour free parking Monday morning.

The floor is cold, in future some wooden floor would help and the electric outlet is a little far, like 10 m away from bed, but things which can be remediated. ALSO 1 double bed is better than 2 simple.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Housekeeping checked in on me, they made sure we were happy with the food, and the lady at the front was helpful when I forgot something at the hotel.

A factor that led me to book the hotel was the airport shuttle. I read that with 3 nights stay, I would have access to the shuttle. This is apparently outdated information so I had to pay for a cab to the airport.
