Park Plaza Budapest

We stayed at Deluxe Family Suite and it is pretty spacious. Location is pretty convenient - walking distance (may be not the shortest, but still) to most of city attractions. Lobby/ rooms are nice / modern. Our parking place was right in front of the hotel which was very convenient (though they charge extra).

I was hoping for a room with a view on Danube (it's pretty much across the beautiful parliament building) - but Deluxe Family faces inner court :( We had 2 single beds (good) + sofa bed, which was very inconvenient (felt like planks with a blanket on top). If anyone from administration is reading this - trying sleeping on it - hope it will motivate you to change for a different model :)

The Danube view from the room was amazing!! Couldn’t have asked for a better view. Even though we were on the lifts and with a front view it still was lovely and quiet. Everything was within walking distance. Can easily get to the Pest side over the chain bridge - probably took 10 minutes to walk. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice large room with Elemis products.

Hard to find some negatives. The only issues which weren’t really a massive deal were the TV only had 1 or 2 English channels (not that we were bothered as we were out and about most of the time) just sometimes nice to have on in the background when getting ready. The bathroom had an awful stench coming up from the shower grate. Had to put the shower on a few times to get rid of the smell but still came back. Even though noted these things we definitely would stay again and recommend the hotel.

- Location - view (river side rooms) - heat (well heated especially after a rainy day outside, the heat came in handy) - easy access (space in front and across the street to just park and do check in) - nice staff - very good breakfast with a lot of variety

There are only 2 things I could think of: 1. Spider webs in the corner of 1 of the 2 rooms we had so not a big deal, maybe housekeeping just didnt see it. 2. We booked 2 rooms, 1 with 1 person and 1 with a couple. The 1 person room was indeed smaller but had a double bed, the couple room was bigger but had twin beds when we booked “large double beds”. I didnt complain or anything because I liked the room and it was ok even with twin beds but just saying, maybe a little more attention from staff when providing rooms.

This is my go to hotel whenever I am working in Budapest. For starters, it has the best view in the city of the Parliament building lit up at night, it is magical. The hotel ranks excellent in my opinion for the price and location. The hotel is very comfortable, excellent bedlinen and comfy bed, hot shower, excellent wi-fi and great choice at breakfast. The staff set this place apart from other hotels, they are caring and attentive to your needs.

Sadly the carpet in our room had minor burn marks/holes, looked like someone had dropped a cigarette at some point. This should have been repaired or replaced for this standard of hotel in the Radisson Group.

We had a wonderful view of the parliament building. Despite being located near a street, the room was well isolated and very quiet. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel also has a great breakfast and a fantastic bar and restaurant. The food is great and the staff members at the bar very friendly and attentive. Once we asked if we could get some cinnamon with our coffee and the staff member immediately remembered and the next time we didn't even have to ask for cinnamon - they just brought it along with the coffee. That's the kind of service we experienced :) Also, the hotel is very conveniently located. Multiple sightseeing spots, the metro station, supermarkets and one of the baths Budapest is famous for can all be reached within approximately 15 minutes. We really loved our stay - It exceeded our expectations and we would go there again in a heartbeat!

The hotel room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with an impressive view that overlooked the city. The hotel's location was ideal, with several excellent restaurants just a stone's throw away, making it easy to find a delicious meal any time of the day. We were also impressed by the nearby public transport options, including trams, buses, and the metro, which made exploring the city without any hassle convenient. The facilities in the room were nothing short of luxurious, with every amenity we could have possibly needed. From the plush bedding to the state-of-the-art entertainment system, we were thoroughly impressed by everything on offer. The hotel bar was also a stylish and elegant spot, perfect for unwinding with a cocktail after a long day of exploring. The service we received throughout our stay was exceptional, with the staff always going above and beyond to meet our needs. We felt welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, thanks to the friendly and helpful nature of the hotel staff. The breakfast offered a diverse range of items, all of which were delicious and full of flavour. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and enjoyable stay at this excellent hotel.

We didn't have an opportunity to utilise the gym, sauna, and spa amenities.

The hotel was situated within a few minutes walk of the Metro and the tra,m Our room had a balcony and overlooked the Danube and at night the illuminated faiirytale Parliament building. The staff spoke good English and were charming and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with all manner of options. The lovely Romanian lady whom cleaned our room did an incredible job keeping it immaculate. I hope one day to return and have n hesitation to recommend it as of a very high standard \Staying there for a week was a joy.There were faclities I did not have time to take advantage of.

the wardrobe was a little small for a long stay But there was an iron and ironing board which is always very useful

One of the best hotels in which I had the pleasure to stay, sadly only for 1 night. Nevertheless, the staff was very friendly and very helpful. They recognized that it was my wife´s birthday so they prepared some cake and some wine for us in the room, free of charge of course. So that was something that I consider valuable. Location is very good, it can be seen also from the pictures. The breakfast was also very good and the breakfast room was also very nice. So all in all, one of the best hotels

Everthing was perfect

Lovely room with a fine view of the Parliament, and with all the amenities that we value the most - comfy bed, good shower, and even a mini fridge which is great for storing water and soft drinks, really useful in the hot weather. Good air conditioning too, and windows which open if you want which is a nice extra. Staff were always friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent, two tram lines run right outside and it's close to several other public transport options, so getting around was very easy. So a very good review already, but for us the best thing happened on our last day. I accidentally booked us for 6 nights instead of 7 - entirely my fault - and although they were fully booked, they moved things around so we could keep our room (we paid of course) and fixed the problem for us with no hassle. I was quite embarrassed, I know that would have caused quite a bit of inconvenience for them, but they couldn't have been nicer about it. They made sure that a mistake didn't become a disaster, and we were so impressed with their understanding and kindness.

I booked a double room with River view + Hungarian parliament view for 4 nights and waking up to that view everyday was a spectacular experience and the room was also quite big enough. The hotel is centrally located on the Buda side, so public transport(metro, trams, bus) is easily accessible. Also, Buda Castle(900 m) and Fisherman's Bastion(500 m) are at walking distance from the hotel.

The breakfast buffet was similar for all 4 days.
