Radisson Blu Hotel Guwahati

Very nice hotel, unique in the area with very good standards on hospitality and service. Staff was well trained,professional and kind and with immediate response&attendance to our requests during our stay and for transportation. Also appreciated that they were using smoke outdoors to get rid of the mosquitoes.

Some features seemed outdated like the electrical amenities (plugs etc), some wear&tear especially in the bathroom and regarding cleanliness some areas under the nightstand or behind the bathtub and air vents at bathroom were not clean.

We stayed in Radisson Blu hotel twice in two occasions in last two weeks. Booked two rooms for family. Rooms were comfy. Room service were excellent. Morning breakfast was full of lot of options. We enjoyed breakfast everyday. They had lot of varieties breakfast food options. Servers were very nice and humble. My family enjoyed the foods very much. Bell boy service was excellent.

Would request Radisson Blu to clean spider webs in the bathroom. It's not visible from inside the bathroom but visible from outside - bedroom the bed side which is next closet to the glass pane of the bathroom side. Also, would recommend to check person's room number key envelope to verify the room number while they are eating in cafe-dine-in specifically. Our room bill was charged for cafe-dine-in which we didn't eat. Looks like someone ate food in cafe-dine-in area with check billed to our room. Found this error in the final bill while checking out. Though management took out wrong food charges from our bill but it was little cumbersome for traveller to go through at check out time. Steps must be taken to correct this problem to avoid any unauthorized charges at the first place.

Very well presented property away from downtown hustle and bustle!

Travel desk: 1. The driver for city sightseeing was resultant to go to any place! Someone please train the driver about why the guests hire his services! 2. I have booked for airport transfer! Travel desk person was absent at the scheduled time and did not advise the driver! Only after intervention by the hotel CSR that a car was arranged! It was good 30 minutes wait! What would happen if a guest is to catch a flight in hurry?

The staff at reception and restsurant were excellent, doesnt include duty manager

1. Seniormost officials not dtessed properly probably overdue for getting new set of garments. 2. Managers must be empowered to offer complimentary snacks or deserts or small meal. Customers will be delighted only when their expenditure is reduced from yhe originally planned. This particular adpect creates an WOW experience that will convert a one time customer to a repeated customer.

The breakfast spread was elaborate,tasty & included a wide range of super healthy options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Radisson Blu hotels are normally built big,so Guwahati one is no exception. The entrance approach road toward the main portico of the hotel is bordered with lush green. The spectacular lobby and the adjoining pool will certainly soothe your eyes strained from watching concrete jungles. The room was splendid. From the bed to the bathroom,it was built to provide a super comfortable stay. It’s quiet, big and spotless clean. The staffs of the hotel are extremely polite and efficient too. I’d like to thank Ms Sarita Pegu of the reception for her courteousness & professionalism. Overall,I’d suggest everyone traveling to Guwahati to try RB at least once.

Nothing as such. I loved everything.

Breakfast spread is large and pretty varied. Eggs to order were executed very well. Attendants were prompt and helped out with alacrity. We wanted warm water for dinner one day and they took such pains to see that our glasses were constantly refilled. Their bake shop seems pretty decent with a flavorful array of croissants. Rooms are large, well ventilated and the gadgets don’t need a degree in rocket science to operate. The view from the room was very nice to wake up to since the sun rises early in eastern India. Front desk was genuinely interested in where we went and how we liked the stay.

Salads could have had some more variety. We would like the beds to be a little more firm. But that’s a really specific preference

We had breakfast included in our booking but one of the days we missed breakfast due to circumstances beyond our control. The dining room staff were great by keeping aside some of thhe breakfast items for us to eat later, however it would have been nice if they had offered us lunch instead. It is a minot thing, but just to make the service exceptional

Too far from the local attractions The staff in the Resturant need more training to cope with A-la-carte menu. Less buffet better as the staff were clueless in coping with simple demands. When an order of a soup and a sweet turned up after one and half hours and the sweet took another half hour and it was cold, at 10.30pm, when the order was placed around 8pm! Other times too the same experience in the restaurant. I had specifically booked a non-smoking room as I suffer from chest allergy, but room smelt very strong of tobacco. The fridge wasn’t working. Reported to the reception, no change of room but a different fridge was provided.

The food was exceptional. A good idea to have buffet style because we were able to sample so many new flavours to us. We were upgraded and the rooms far exceeded our expectations. We have never stayed anywhere so lovely Staff were all friendly and helpful. Binita and Ngupyen were great waitresses

The breakfast spread is excellent and has a lot of options. However, they did not have the options for vegan milk. They could do better in meeting dietary requirements (to better serve those with any food allergy). The rooms are clean and spacious. Overall, a very good place to stay in Guwahati.
