Taj Usha Kiran Palace, Gwalior

Our recent stay at Taj Usha Kiran Palace was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our visit truly memorable. The team's thoughtfulness and attention to detail were evident right from the start. We were pleasantly surprised when they graciously upgraded our room to a ground-floor haven, which made things incredibly convenient for my elderly father. Their assistance with a wheelchair was not only appreciated but showcased a level of service that sets Taj Usha Kiran Palace apart. A special shoutout to Mr. Bhavesh, who took it upon himself to arrange a delightful walk for my father. His commitment and dedication to ensuring our utmost comfort were truly commendable. Ms. Aarushi's personal touch in organizing a drawing and coloring activity for our kid added an extra layer of warmth to our stay. The culinary delights served were a feast for the senses - the food and tea were beyond delicious. Our rooms were not just accommodations; they were cocoons of comfort, with beds so cozy that every night was a restful retreat. Ms. Riya, always at our beck and call, ensured that our requests were promptly and efficiently taken care of. The ambiance of the palace is nothing short of regal. With two temples within the premises, the atmosphere exuded peace and spirituality, making us feel like Maharajas in our own right. To top it off, the horse cart riding experience for our son was an absolute delight, adding an extra layer of joy to our stay. In summary, Taj Usha Kiran Palace doesn't just provide accommodation; it crafts an immersive experience that goes above and beyond expectations. The most incredible 24 hours here. The fabulous royal welcome and horse drawn carriage and music was an amazing experience. The staff were all amazingly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Dheeraj in particular was such a honey!! The room was just beautiful and everything honestly insane. They even had printed out a proposed itinerary of what we could do including a walk around the ground, prayer in the temple and yoga in the morning. Everything was super and definitely recommend. For somewhere so high level, you still felt like you experienced the culture as wel. It was fab. Food also was delish!!!

Literally all was insane, the only thing to comment was the menus being on iPads was a bit annoying. And we only had one iPad for both of us. I think it is the hotel trying to be modern and move away from paper. However, something of this level, and this classy, this sadly detracts from that. If I was to receive an iPad for a menu In the Ritz in London - I would be shocked. And this is that level. A nice leather bound menu would be more appropriate.

Exceptional staff and services. We got in quite exhausted after our travelling and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and relax. Special mention Ashok from the front office, Kavitha the chef, Santosh in house keeping and Chandini and Vanitha from hospitality/ Food and beverage. These staff members went over and above the call of duty to ensure we had a most memorable stay.

The rooms smelt a bit musty.

Good ambience. Room given was of very good size. though I saw some smaller rooms . The Amenities in the room was very good. Some items like TV remote, AC needed some maintenance but the mechanic came quick upon telephone to Reception . Bathroom was excellent. Breakfast and Lunch /Dinner was great in taste and the manager very helpful. Reception staff very friendly.

Bar tender need to serve cocktails better. But may be we had one exception when the a cocktail was not upto standard ;but on pointing out the replaced drink was perfect Rooms should have detail booklet informing of all hotel facilities

As one comes to expect of a Taj Hotel, the service is superb. The immaculately maintained property is architecturally rich environment that is a treat to ones senses. Gwalior is a destination very worth visiting. After a day of exploring forts, temples and gurdwaras, the lounge/bar Taj is a wonderful place to return to and the bartender knows how to make a proper gimlet!

My room was unbelievably spacious, but I with it had a view of something other than an internal courtyard.

- The staff is very kind and generous (especially Navneet) - The F&B Manager Farhan was kind enough to organise an exceptional anniversary special dinner for us - The food is amazing! 3 dishes we would especially go back for - Lamb Barbat, Sekwa (Pan grilled fish), Tareko Aloo (the best lamb, fish and potato dish we’ve had) other dishes like the pasta, soup and kathi roll were also superb - Chef Shailendra was kind enough to pack a special Nepalese Kala Masala for us to take home, we even took home a huge loaf of their freshly baked brown bread - The rooms and restaurant are absolutely clean and well maintained, although seating outside during summer isn't advisable - The room we got was super huge, well appointed and very comfortable - Taj hospitality at its best

There was nothing to dislike

everything specially front desk staff pooja and a other person . food is good . ambience is wow and peaceful big garden . swimming was closed due to cold but last last we had fun in pool . hospitality and service is perfect

breakfast options could be little improved . still it was nice .

It was indeed a very very pleasant stay at UKP. We are overwhelmed by the hospitality and service. Special thanks to the F&B team, the Chefs and Mr. Navneet who ensure that we get what we want. They served a lot of special dishes like home made which were outside the menu. My Grand Son Alyaan missing Narayan.

I would heartily recommend this place. Would definitely visit when we will come Gwalior. The staff is professional. They go out of their way to help you and make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Big shout out to Ms. Aditi Ms. Pooja for going out of her way to make our check-in & check-out very easy & comfortable.

The quality food could have been better. Silver Spoon menu is rather restricted. More items need to be added

Because it was so incredibly hot in Gwalior we would go sightseeing early and rush back to the hotel and especially the pool. Nitin and the other people at the pool were extremely nice. Meals and especially breakfast were great. We absolutely loved the hotel.
