Well preserved architecture and history is the highlight. Place is very clean, staff is courteous and helpful. View of the Jaisalmer Fort from their rooftop restaurant is awesome. There is a museum inside the hotel free for hotel guests. Definitely worth a look. Location is the highpoint as it is in the heart of the city If u r lucky u will get to speak to the members of the current royal family who stay inside the hotel. Pls ensure that u keep 3 hrs aside for a tour of the palace hotel and museum. Great photo open locations inside the hotel !! Loved it, wud definitely visit again !!

Internet sucked.. didn't get wifi for the entire duration of our stay . Apart from this our stay was extremely enjoyable .

Who could fail to love the Mandir Palace? It’s a glorious old palace, spectacular to look at, but with super comfy rooms, cosy in the heart of winter. The staff were simply fabulous, dignified but warm and friendly and sympathetic, and helped enormously with our travel problems. Location also perfect. By far the best place to stay in Jaisalmer. Will be back!

It was entirely perfect. Weather was cold but staff made sure our room was warm and cosy. Good WiFi, ample hot water, lots of covers, good breakfast.

Very good hotel, situated in a 200 year old Jaisalmer Palace. Very spacious rooms. Staff is really friendly and makes every effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Great rooftop dining with a la carte en buffet options; with Jaisalmer Fort views. Nice and well maintained pool. Perfect location.

Rooms are spacious but our room was very noisy; comfort of the bed could be a bit better. Buffet options during breakfast could be a bit more extensive (dinner buffet was great).

It’s a famous 4star hotel in the Golden City, located in the heart of the Jaisalmer. It has been built for over 200 years and used to be the Palace of the Royal Family. If you choose this property, you can expect to stay with the price/princess, which will definitely make feel like a part of the Royal Family. Btw, the room was neat and clean, and the museums in the property were also worthwhile to visit. And there’s a surprisingly good view from rooftop restaurant!

The swimming pool may need some cleaning and the food was good but overpriced.

The property is beautiful and very well positioned. You can walk to the fort from here. The restaurant serves amazing Indian food. We chose to not eat out for dinner throughout our stay. They have an open air dinner scene every night when a pair of local musicians play while everyone eats by the fireside. The restaurant staff is helpful, cheery and very polite. Their service is non intrusive yet efficient and fast. Again, food is just great (a la carte stuff). The dinner area is close to the rooms hence it becomes an activity in itself that guests do through 2-3 hrs while enjoying the fireside music.

We had a little issue at the bathroom shower as no hot water was coming (probably the staff forget to switch on and we had to wait more than 30 minutes to shower). The manager come with a solution (it was the third time, third person we complaint about it) and a room change but after switching on for an hour the heater, the hot water come down. We solve it during the stay.

Loved everything about our stay! The well-preserved and beautifully maintained heritage hotel itself, the courteous and helpful staff, exceptional service, the delicious Rajasthani food with a touch of home cooking and the location in Jaisalmer, everything was perfect. Our stay in Jaisalmer became more special because of where we stayed and the amazing hospitality shown by the Mandir Palace team.

The hotel more than lived up to my expectations. No negatives.

This place was beyond what I expected! It was a 200 yr old Maharaja's palace and I'm pretty sure they still have quarters here. The room was immaculate, the staff were always ready to help and as an added bonus there is a museum that is part of the palace which you can visit for free if you're staying.

The spa was shut but I think because we were out of season

Beautiful heritage property, right in the heart of Jaisalmer. They upgraded us to a Suite although we had booked a deluxe room. Our room had all the mod cons although it had antique everything. Staff were really welcoming and courteous. Breakfast was good but limited in variety, can be improved. Tried their spa which was good too. Would highly recommend this property

The heritage feel of the property gives you the feeling of living with royalty. The staff is exceptionally courteous and the service is unparalleled. They helped out with late check out and let us enjoy the property for a bit longer after our checkout. The spa at the premises is a must visit, the therapies provided are so relaxing and just what you need while on vacation. These were definitely highlights of our stay. The suite was stocked well with amenities and gave a luxurious feel.

The deluxe room we stayed in felt cramped and there was paint falling off the ceiling. The shower head was loose and water pressure dismal. We chose not to complain about this as we were only staying for 1 night and we figured out most of the issues a few hours prior to check out.
