Holiday Inn Katra Vaishno Devi, an IHG Hotel

We had an awesome stay at this property for 2 nights. Starting from check in to check out all the staff were very very polite and soft spoken specially vanita at reception. We also had dinner at their restaurent which was very very tasty in 1600 INR for 2 person. The bed was very comfortable and rooms are near and clean. The wifi was very fast. The location is right outside the katra train station. Our room was facing the mata vaishodevi bhawan and the view was great. Shopping stores and restaurants are very nearby. We will definitely stay here again in our next visit.

The property is new and clean, the staff is exceptionally warm and nice. Vishal and Akash on the First Floor restaurant made sure we had an amazing food experience throughout the trip! They ensured everything in food was freshly prepared as what we liked. Thanks to the courtesy extended and a memorable stay!!

Can have more food options and provide free pickup and drop vehicle service to customers till Banganga, but the amazing staff here compensated for all the things that we didn’t like

Great location, walking distance from the Railway Station. Hospitable and warm F&B staff. Clean rooms. Pleasant experience.

Arrogant and pseudo professional attitude of the front desk staff makes you feel less comforting. We had to bargain for early check in and late checkout request even though the property was not fully occupied. If the staff becomes more understanding, it can create a really good option for us travellers as this property is really conveniently placed.

Very nice staff. Upgraded us to a bigger room with mountain view. Food was great. The restaurant has an open terrace is which is pretty. The location is convenient as it's next to the railway station. However, one needs to take a ride (by auto, cab) to get to the city center. It's around 1.5kms away. Although, transport is very easily available.

Would have been much better if the location was a little closer to the city center. Had to take auto everytime we went out to the market.

Everything about Holiday INN katra, has been worth every rupee paid. Holiday INN will be my preferred stay from now on. And IHG hotels are on my preferrence from now on everytime I travel.

Hotel was unable to arrange a pick-up at night. Just a pick-up would have been perfect, as it was very late for our group to reach hotel at night around 11pm. Despite insisting multiple times, hotel staff failed to do so.

Location. Easy to reachable.

We supposed to reach by 12 where checkin time was available at 11 am. Due to some delayed we reached by 4 pm. And room wasnt ready even it was confirmed booking from booking.com After waiting half an hr we have got room keys.

Very clean and spacious rooms, excellent location only steps from the railway station, taxi service to anywhere in Katra, very friendly and accommodating front desk staff

Room service was a little slow but I would still recommend this hotel

The staff was very courteous and also was accommodating in terms of our requests related to check in and check out. Also, the breakfast was pretty good with a good amount of varieties as well. The front desk staff was concerned about our requirements and was willing to fulfill them as well.

Property is already showing signs of wear and tear. Some rooms claimed to be with the mountain view are positioned in a way that the mountain is only visible when standing away from the bed. Rooms don't have heating.

Dinner was really good and the ambience was also upto the mark as per the name of the property.

I booked 2 rooms through booking.com but both the room were far from each other. Was looking for adjacent rooms but that wasnt arranged for me.
