Glacier View Guest House

Newly build guesthouse, very clean, hot shower, good local food and very friendly personell. Located in calm area of Leh. Heating mats are provides in the beds which was very comforting at freezing temperatures outside.

No english TV channels 😀

Very good hotel with reasonable prices - clean, spacious rooms, mine had a balcony too and a view of glacier. Traditional architecture, with a lot of wooden elements, which makes it even more cosy. Staff was exceptional - nice, friendly, open for all requests. Food was exceptional, good prices too. Location - very close to the centre.

Warm water took some time to come, but this is not such a big deal.

Rooms are good and quite clean. They maintain the property nicely. Staffs were polite and good. Food were also Ok. Only, minor issue can be consider for location. This hotel is located in very narrow street, which used to be busy most of the time. But this is the case of leh(overall city). Almost all hotels you will find likethis only. very narrow road/street. This hotel is very near to mall road of leh. So overall nice experince!!!

„Glacier view” is definitely an overstatement and a marketing stunt. I haven’t seen any glacier view neither from my room nor from common areas. Nevertheless, rooms are clean, personnel competent and honest, location very close to the center. They have helped me with organizing a tour for my family, everything went perfect and they delivered on all their promises. Overall, perfect experience. Thank you guys!

I like the properties, location and the rustic architecture, it was very clean, and the service was impeccable.

The manager, Mr Salim went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, the food was also excellent prepared from there in house kitchen.

The room was big, clean and well furnished. The staff was kind and helpful, especially Mr. Shafiq Who was very courteous and helpful with our requirements. Also the food was very good. The guest house Is near the city center but in a quiet Place.

Location: The location is beautiful and compliments the name as it has a beautiful Glacier view. It's is in walking proximity from all the major places like City Palace, Jagdish Temple, etc. Staff: We were greeted by Adil and his team with a hot cup of Kashmiri Kahwa (must say, it was delicious). The manager, Shafiq, was in constant touch via WhatsApp since the booking, was helpful whenever required and made all the arrangements at ease. Everyone in the team was very helpful, Humble and Friendly. Room: The room was at the terrace level with the beautiful mountain view. The room was clean, spacious and very well kept. Food: The food could have been better, however, I believe that is how everyone eats there. WiFi: Good WiFi connection with decent speed.

Electricity: The electricity backup facility is not that great. We faced a power cut for a day which was not convenient. However, they have said to work on that. Water: The hot water is available only in the mornings which is inconvenient, as the water is freezing cold. Electric Kettle: There should be an electric kettle available in the room so the customer can have hot water for drinking at their convicience.

Excellent especially Mr. Saifi, Manager is very cooperative and manages all requrements of guests in a planned manner. Once you reach there, there is no need to take any tension he organize the tour according to your own itenary. My experience was very good.

All good, great location, spacious rooms with clean upholstery and they provided heaters also.

The washroom in the lower double room could have been better. It was below par but the one at the upper double room was very good and new.

It's a newly built hotel , with all amenities required for a stay in leh. The rooms are spacious , the restaurant is also good, it serves Indian food. The breakfast spread is also good & has many veg options. The staff is very courteous & helpful. Spread In 2 Blocks with awasome Garden Inna Desert of Ladakh
