Fairfield by Marriott Jodhpur

There was exceptional service provided by Mr. Basir in F&B department and Chef Mr. Chetan (Kitchen). Since i had some food restrictions they were very forthcoming in suggesting dishes that could be prepared keeping them in mind. I would also like to appreciate the courtesy they extended and prompt service. It was a pleasure dining in the restaurant and even with my food restrictions I did not feel that i did not have choices to eat.

The only flip side was the charges. Though on checkin my CC was swiped however, on check out I was informed that I need to pay entire amount and hence the total amount was charged again. I had a call with few of the staff at the reception Yogesh, Ms. Ankita and Prateek. I was later informed that the charges would be reversed on my CC. However, I still have to get confirmation from bank it was done. I stayed in hotel from Jan 19-21, 2024.

The staff was amazing! Supriya helped us book multiple trains. Before her help we were banging our heads against the wall trying to book them ourselves. She saved us. It was clean. Even the bathrooms were perfect which, from our experience in India so far is really rare. Breakfast buffet was included, amazing, and the staff remembered us after only 1 meal. Traveling in India has been difficult and tiring and this hotel was a great way to rejuvenate. First place I’ve been where the Wi-Fi worked.

It isn’t close to anything so if you’re looking to explore the city, you’d have to take Ubers or taxis

The property was very clean, quite and peaceful. The most courteous and humble staff. They were always ready to help. The nicest people to talk to. We were floored by the hospitality. Also, they made sure each day they had something or the other to offer to the guests if in case they planned to stay back in the hotel. The day we checked in there was a high tea , another day we had dinner and local artists were performing folk music. It overall was a wonderful experience and I’d totally recommend the property !

We missed having a pool and a spa honestly .

Overall reception offered to guest was quiet good. Front desk staff, especially Mr. Anil from their reservation team took care every requirement of ours when we are in need. Restaurant staff, service were good, food variety was ok. Every staff member was courteous and helpful all throughout.

Two points to highlight : - Room size : with the kind of charges applied, room was not that spacious compared to other branded hotels. - Travel desk : We have to be critical about the plans offered by the hotel nominated drivers, vendors on the sight seeing. We face issues by taking their advice on Osian rides, local destinations and could not cover few.

My stay was made special by the staff who go out of their way to satisfy any ask. I wanted to visit and see the Leopards in their natural environment, and the hotel team took care of it by getting my safari booked from hotel and back to a place called Jawai 3 hours away.

location was far from centre and In Jodhpur the uber and OLa drivers do not come for the price that is mentioned in the Uber and Ola Apps - so be ready to shell out a minimum of rs. 500 per trip regardless of distance -or time even if it only a 4-5 km ride taking 10 mins No swimming pool

Everything. We especially liked the swanns that the housekeeping made out of towels. We received plenty of water which was great for our needs.

The OLA taxi drivers scamming people and saying the hotel is "outside of town" and you need to pay more.

Great breakfast and location was nice and quiet

Did not like the service in the bar restaurant the girl serving very slow, orders wrong and was not happy we asked for separate bill. took long time to figure out and was wrong. No apologies or thanks for using the facility.

The staff was very courteous and responsive. They gave good respect.

The location is not apt from tourist point of view. However the surrounding which is still not developed gives a bit of peaceful atmosphere except the highway close by. There was no internal parking provisions within the facility. The parking was outside the hotel which can be threat for the vehicle's.

We are delighted to enjoy the celebration and all arrangements by the crew. It was our parents's anniversary and we love the time we spent here. Food is definitely awesome and worth living the moment. Thanks for the hospitality Kanishk, Arzoo and Shishupal for your lovely gesture.
