it’s a dammm good property especially Meena is very very helpful,sweet and an amazing resource.

Abhishek he was kinda rude on call so the thing. was I was asked to do a COVID test I did it from someone else and not from the person suggested by Abhishek that person informs Abhishek that I’m not well and Abhishek even called me listening to that person and was kinda doubting on me the whole time I’m a mature person and a responsible citizen as well so take a break !!

What a location....I stayed with my family and booked Jr King Size Room. Whoa...what a spacious room with balcony. I can see Ganges right from my room balcony. Taj Rishikesh is located 35 KMs from Rishikesh city towards Badrinath Road. Road condition is very good. No question about rest staff and cleanliness. They have 2 main restaurants. One is multi cuisine which is right near the reception area and another one is little far but opens on lunch & dinner time only which is specialised cuisine. There is facility of Salon, Spa as well in case some one wants to go for. I found the main attraction is river Ganga....resort is located right on the bank of river Ganga. I'll upload photos as well. You need to take quite a few steps to reach the beach which is white sand beach. I checked in around 3, had lunch then took some rest and went to beach around 6....and my my my...what a pleasant feeling I had....sat on beach and had my foot soaked into cold water of Ganga. I sat there for almost an hour there listening sound of flowing Ganga river. Under water current was high at that time due to heavy rain at Badrinath. So resort guest was not allowed to go deep into river. You can take holy dip near the bank but not far from bank. Resort provides facility of electric cart for pickup and drop. Nobody is allowed to visit river bank after sunset fear of wind animals. Next Day: Breakfast is amazing....they have everything you need to satisfy your appetite and its buffet serve. Apart from breakfast, they don't serve buffet. We ordered Gadhwali Thali at Dinner and asked them to make it littler more spicier. Most of the food they serve is not marinated considering their international guests but if you ask specifically then they'll make it as per your requirement.

Best in class for hospitality, superb cuisine, and comfort. The Taj Hotels are superb! Chef Himanshu serves gastronomic delights, and the gracious, efficient Ms. Singh!

The view from the room is fabulous. Hotel has good amenities.

The base category room was too basic. There wasn’t even a bathtub. Although it was a great overall experience but not worth the money.

The Resort is beautiful and has been done up very well. It's quaint and very relaxing. The staff is very affable and the food is extremely good, the local cuisine being prepared there is definitely a must try.

There were a few instances of hygiene with food, which needs to be looked into. The staff acknowledged the mistake and ensured that it was well taken and assured no repetition.

Location of the property is excellent. Ambience too good. The room which we had was awesome with facing Ganga and on a full moon day to view Ganga on early morning made it more memorable. It seemed to be the place which we had an experience that we were not in India.

There were no such things that we did'nt like except the our selection of timings to stay. One should not visit in the month of April when the weather is too hot as outside weather kills you after you are out of the property.

The property is in a secluded place away from the hustle and bustle . It’s serene, calm and definitely a treat for the eyes when u see Ganges so close to you. Staff is supportive and cooperative . Food became our second love there after the serene views, it’s pizzeria was just awesome and food was scrumptious. Breakfast sitting is very nice with the lovely views of Ganges and so as the food,everything we had there was just so flavourful and tasty. There was another Himalayan restaurant which was ultimate amalgamation of different authentic cuisines. Then a keep a sweet little Ganga Aarti there everyday.Just a few problems which we faced there is monkey menace and no mobile network which is actually a problem for working people. I hope they rectify these issues. Rest everything was just perfect. We had an amazing and memorable stay there.

All was superb we loved it wanted you to add few more items in menu for variety . Location was superb . The spa needs to add few more relaxed massages. 😀

The unavailability of food items for wheat and milk alternative people with allergies. Some activists fun need to be added on daily basis 🙂.

The pool and spa were amazing. The staff was also really helpful. We went in the rainy season so the experience with the Ganges wasn't the best since the water was muddy and we couldn't take a dip. However we will come back in April when the waters are calmer.

The buffet menu needs to be more allergy inclusive. I have gluten and milk allergy. Would be nice to have items that are suitable accordingly.

The Property and its location was just fab , on the Ganga , with a private beach, cant ask for more. As expected the Taj service was outstanding The break fast was an amazing spread and absolutely delicious offerings Special mention to the Bakery

The Specialty restaurant Himalayan has too little to offer on the menu and is over priced. It has the best location on the property, the why would you not keep it open for Lunch? It has a panaromic view from the verandah of the Ganga.
