The Bianconi Inn

A lovely inn with friendly staff who went above and beyond to solve a minor crisis that had nothing to do with them. Breakfast is included and besides ao buffet of cold cerial, pastries, etc., there was also a hot breastfast menu to choose from. Although my particular room might be small for two people, for just 1 it was prfect. I woud stay atThe Bianconi again in a heartbeat.

My only complaint is not about the Bianconi itself. Killorglin is a small town, but is a thorofare. Having a room on the front of the property it was quite noisy with trucks and tractors passing by. Even the bakery across the street starts preping at 4am so if you are a light sleeper, I would suggest asking for a room on the back side of the inn.

This small boutique hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Killorglin with easy road access to Tralee, Dingle, and Killarney. It was spotlessly clean and the rooms were comfortable and well equipped - coffee/tea making, plenty of power outlets, mirror, hairdryer, toiletries, and soft, fluffy towels. We had the Standard Double and Deluxe Twin and there was a noticeable difference in the size of these (the Twin had a very generous footprint). The buffet element of the breakfast (danish, juices, cereals, yogurts) was a little limited and basic but the hot breakfast served at the table was fantastic! The full Irish (thankfully with the baked beans kept separate on the side) and the pancakes were delicious and freshly made. There was easy, secure, after-hours access to the hotel when the reception had closed.

Beautifully decorated and beautifully maintained, with great staff. The beds were fantastic- very comfortable. The rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean. It's a roadside hotel so there was some traffic noise but not enough to affect our sleep. The bar is very friendly. If you want to eat here it's important to book ahead as it's very popular with the local discerning clientele - and trust me: it's well worth it! The food quality and cooking is to a very high standard - some of the best we experienced on our trip. Breakfast was also great. My husband had the porridge (he's a dedicated porridge maker) and rated it 5*. There were lots of seeds, honey and compote etc to add. I loved the buffet - super fresh fruit and then top quality homemade bread. 9There was lots of choice on the menu for those that want more. 0

The Bianconi Inn is a modern property; with good facilities. WE had a very comfortable room at the front of the hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of road noise. It does not have a lift. Their restaurant is very good; very good choice of meals and served in a nice manner. Breakfast was also good; plenty of everything. Our bedroom was surprisingly large and we had two double beds and a good bathroom/shower. WE only stayed the one night as we were moving on the next day to do the "Ring of Kerry". The Gianconi is in a convenient location for getting access of much of what Kerry has to offer.

Car parking is on the street outside the hotel. This is a busy road and parking there would be somewhat concerning. We were directed to a free car park a mere 50 yards away which suited us better.

Renovated rooms, restaurant, snug, and breakfast rooms were beautiful and well appointed. The staff was delightful and quite helpful.

Ask for a room ofc the road if you are a light sleeper. It is difficult to unload and load the car at the door with heavy traffic and no curbside parking available. We visited when weather was in the mid-60sF and found the room warm and stuffy. There did appear to be an air conditioning unit in the room but we could not operate it.

Very convenient location for exploring Dingle peninsula and Ring of Kerry. Plenty of free parking across the road. Close to town centre, with restaurants and shops. Really clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast and lots of choice, served every morning by the lovely Helen. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, very good food and service and well priced. Standout for us was the staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. They changed my mother's room to a lower floor as she was struggling with the stairs. Nothing was too much bother. Would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the area. Killorglin is a great base for exploring Kerry.

this time around we had an “intruder in the night”, someone opened our door and also got a fright with two people on the other side, it was funny in the end but a little “um” in the moment. needless to say we will be back again but that’s why it’s a 9 this time. Even during renovations going on, the stay was very comfortable, establishment so clean and breakfast requirements or requests were truly met, Thank You

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. It is beautiful, clean, comfortable and very well maintained. We had dinner in the restaurant which was fabulous! And the breakfast offerings are some of the best we’ve had. It’s convenient for people driving the ring of Kerry who don’t want to deal with the crowds in Killarney. The staff are friendly and excellent. The little town is just darling.

Nothing…it’s so perfect!

Beautifully decorated , immaculately clean. Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice and all very tasty. The restaurant was also lovely and amazing food. The staff bent over backwards to ensure we had a great couple of days. Shops, pubs and the river were all within a few minutes walk. The locals were also welcoming. You could park on the street or in the free carpark two minutes walk away. Would definitely stay at the Bianconi again.

it’s rare you stay in a place where everything is perfect - value for money, comfort, friendliness of staff, quality of food and homely feeling. What made it for me was on that our first evening the owner overheard us taking about getting up early so we could get out on the beautiful Kerry mountains and she arranged for our breakfast to be 30mins earlier - pure class!
