The hotel is fantastic!! Family friendly, the rooms are spacious and ours had a bath and a large walk in shower, bed is super comfortable, tea making facility and a coffee machine! The swimming pool is clean and modern, we loved it, breakfasts are amazing, so much choice, the fry was amazing!! and beautuil produce. If you're looking for a hotel close to douglas as a base this is the one! We cannot wait to come back! I loved that it's so so clean!! Even with it being a pet friendly hotel it's immaculate. Highly recommended the comis

There was literally nothing we didn't like bits fantastic.

The staff especially Cindy in the front Office was exceptional good, very helpful, friendly, made Comis Home from Home, she had good knowledge of Douglas that made our visit memorable and tour of the Isle of Man worth it. Food was excellent quality of high standard, accommodation was spacious., clean and cleaned daily. Location was cental to the city and various visitors sites. I, 100 percent recommend Comis Hotel & Golf Resort for holidaying. Well done to one and all keep the good hospitality going as best you know.

Provide water daily for vistors in their room fridge.

loverly location, rooms sound proof, temperature good, the restaurant food is amazing. I loved the swimming pool and views over the course.

I found the reception staff a little abrupt this year and rude. The staff in bars and dinning very helpful and chatty which made our stay but receptionists really need to come down if their pedestals. The attached Spar was also rude on reception, I pre booked as I had brought my wife as a special treat after a tuff year, to be told our pre booked spar reservations for for the incorrect week, and what sessions she did get to use the jacuzzi was like a lobster pot, which she was told was normal, later they admitted it was set over 42 degrees, then the lights went out meaning nobody could access the showers, no part refund or apology offered. after complaining multiple times just to be fobbed off! This experience ruined my reason for bringing my wife along.

Great friendly welcome both at check in and also throughout our stay. Very pleasant and professional staff in all areas of the hotel, (reception, bar/restaurant, gym and house keeping). A very relaxed and spacious feel to the hotel which was exactly what we hoped for. Bother in law who travelled with us was very impressed with the standard of equipment in place at the gym and again by the welcome and advice on offer from the trainer on site. Nice quiet relaxing location just off the main road but within easy reach of 4 miles of Douglas, Kirk Braddan and the port facilities. Looking out through the panoramic windows in the breakfast room over the golf course and onto snaefell mountain was great way to wake up whilst having a tasty breakfast. We all dined in Le Brûlot Bar & Grill again was a pleasant experience, good selection of tasty freshly made food (with the open kitchen on view) combined with prompt but not over invasive service, service was by a number of mostly young but polite and friendly staff (appear to be well trained) which given the current shortage within the hospitality industry was a welcome addition. Nice buzz around the place on Saturday evening with the piano playing in the back ground and easy to relax into. Those 2 words seems to reappear when talking about the comis hotel - RELAX & ENJOY.

Whilst i did like the wide choice available for breakfast I personally would have liked the option of porridge, just a heart health thing. I suppose I should have asked but it didn't appear anywhere on the breakfast menu as to being available on request.

Location is good if you have a car - maybe 10 minutes drive into Douglas with plenty of parking, which the Douglas hotels lack. I think there’s a bus service too. Nice spacious room and excellent bathroom with separate walk in shower. Corridors and staircases are a bit basic in decor and carpets but rooms and public areas are fine. Staff were very friendly.

At check in, the receptionist was trying to check in a group of French people with very little English on their part and no French on hers. It was sorted out in the end but not a good first impression for people who had come to a high quality hotel via a several day journey by motorbike. Maybe you would expect some basic hotel language skills at a high quality hotel during the Manx Grand Prix, which gets plenty of European visitors.

Great location, staff very pleasant and helpful. Loved that it is dog friendly although on this occasion we did bring ours. Food In restaurant was excellent and plentiful and great VFM. I used the spa for a massage this was wonderful and reasonably priced.

Breakfast is until 9.30am. The staff are VERY quick to remove the hot drinks and buffet. We were there for 4 days and this was consistent. Don’t go down for 9.25 otherwise you will be wrestling the sausages from the staff. Sorry Comis I understand that You need to set up for the day but at least have the staff read the room before clearing food at break neck speed. We have stayed in hotels all over the world over many years and never seen a breakfast buffet be cleared so fast and promptly by staff. It’s weird and can make breakfast uncomfortable.

The hotel is amazing, I don’t have a single fault to mention. Entrance is welcoming, modern decor. Reception staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Facilities were plentiful, from the swimming pool to the treatments on offer to a very smart looking Moet & Chandon champagne lounge downstairs. Plenty of parking available. Rooms were spotlessly clean, beds very comfy, nespresso coffee machine in room with pods aswell as a kettle and tea coffee etc Bathrobes & slippers in rooms, complimentary toiletries in bathroom. Bonus of having a walk in shower with very good power shower AND a bath too. Breakfast was self service and were choices of hot cooked breakfast and cereals, pastrys etc Scrambled eggs out, but you are asked if you would like any other kind of egg making for you. That is then brought to you very quickly. The grounds are immaculate. The hotel really does live up to it’s 4 star rating. Free shuttle service to the ferry terminal at the end of your stay is a nice touch also. Overall, we can’t recommend this hotel enough and we are already planning a return early next year.

Only issue you may have is the location, it is a bit out from Douglas. Approx 15 mins in a car/taxi. Costing approx £13 each way. There are bus stops about a 5 minute walk down to the main road which run every 20 mins and go all over the island.

The staff were excellent. The reception were always friendly and helpful. Any query was dealt with immediately and nothing was too much trouble. The beds were very comfortable. The room was quiet with a lovely view. The food was very tasty and not expensive with good portions. The inclusive breakfast was very well organised and extensive.

The pool was a good temperature but the surrounding area could have been a bit warmer and the lockers needed repairs. All the towels had been used and no-one was available to supply them when I was there. The golf was not obviously accessible but the weather was awful!!

Spacious bedroom and ideal location by the garden for our dog. Restaurant and breakfast food was great and reasonably priced, and both the bistro and restaurant had beautiful views over the golf course and countryside. Fantastic spa treatments. Hotel location is perfect for seeing the whole of the island whilst staying in a quiet out of town location. Very dog friendly hotel and dog permitted in all areas. All staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay and will definitely return. These are not complaints but hopefully helpful suggestions: 1) empty the dog poo bin more often, it was very full and smelly during our 3 day stay 2) have a swim lane in the pool so that swimmers are seperate from kids playing. A no inflatable rule would be useful too as the pool is relatively small 3) put some table and chairs in the garden area used by dog owners and a rain shelter would be nice too 4) more vegetarian options on the evening meal menu please
