Our host Daniele had brought in a very good selection of food for us to do self-catering for breakfast - juice, milk, water, toast, yoghurt, eggs, coffee etc. When I told him my wife was gluten free, he soon turned up with numerous GF items! Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he readily gave us a list of things to see and places to eat. There were a couple of roof fans that kept the apartment nice and cool. It had fridge, microwave, kettle, hob, and kitchen equipment. Large screen TV. The apartment is well situated to visit the historical buildings, churches, and museums of Brindisi. There is a pleasant walk along the harbour edge. There is a handy bus AP that links ferry terminal, station, town, and airport; the nearest stop to the apartment is Piazza Capitanerie di Porto. I got a bus from the airport to the train station and the B&B was only a few minutes walk from there but Daniele was very kind and came to pick me up. It was close to the harbour and easy to walk around to see all the sights. Daniele kept in touch over What’s App and gave me a list of places to go sightseeing with directions for the short time I was there. He own a little shop next to the B&B and I went in daily for an espresso in the morning and an aperitif later in the day (his brother makes and sells a delicious artichoke liqueur - I wish I’d bought more bottles to bring back!). As a lone traveller I felt looked after and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

It has a very traditional vibe. For us it is definitely a nice and new kind of experience. I will also say whatever complaint you might have about the property itself, the host makes up for it a thousand times. He was extremely helpful and friendly, had recommendations for everything from beaches to restaurants, to how to get around. He also invited us for a glass of wine to his gift shop next to the property which was very nice. Also, it is in a very central location also, everything is in a max 7 minutes of walking.

Bathroom is a bit small. If you are a big person, you might have some interesting time trying to take a shower

Great location, near historic sights and restaurants. Excellent value for the budget traveller. Even though I was only here one day (after a week's vacation elsewhere in Puglia), with a very early start the next morning to catch my flight, I was met by the affable, exuberant manager, Daniele, who took time to explain what I could do in the short time I was there, where to eat etc. Very service-minded and helpful. Room was large, clean and came with it's own balcony. My only regret was not staying a little longer.

Shower water could have been warmer, but maybe this was because I took the shower late at night.

I booked a single room, to be surprised with a double sofabed as well as a single bed. All facilities with, kitchenette and all necessary tools for cooking, coffe making and more. Daniele was a wonderful host and provided maps with recommended sightseeing as well as great food places. His family also owns a little souvenir shop near by where I was able to leave my bag as I arrived hours before check in time. Same after check out, as I still had a full day of more sightseeing ahead of me. Seems I have met a whole family and the welcoming was exceptional!

The room was equiped with what I needed to cook for myself which was great, located in the old town. Host was really friendly and helpful. Apartment aside, Brindisi itself I didn't love and probably wouldn't recommend traveling to but if you do go this was a good spot to stay.

The bedding and towels smelt like mens aftershave/body spray (probably just the washing detergent they use). I am really sensitive to smell so it was quite unpleasant for me. Shower pressure was not great.

Optimal for the travellers who like doing in their own pace. Excellent location, maximal privacy, somewhat old-fashioned (very Italian) ambience. Not just a room but a 'studio' with good choice of kitchenware basic things for cooking and even coffee.

Floor tap on she shower could work better (which is common for old houses though). No collander (how to boil pasta without it?) High first floor with a steep staircase was alright for me but someone could have problem with it.

Host Daniele is very welcoming and helpful. Treated me to a free beer and finger food when I arrived earlier than expected, as he prepared the apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean. Daniele has a great knowledge of Brindisi sights and restaurant advice which he is eager to share on your arrival.

Please note the access stairs are quite steep, which were okay for me, but could be a challenge if you are elderly or a less mobile guest.

We only stayed one night for Brindisi airport, but this place is well suited for a longer trip. For two people it was quite spacious with separated bedroom & living room. It's clean and we liked the quirky, homely style. We chose the ground floor apartment and slept well, not noisy at night as it's in a quiet side street. Also the two brothers who run it were great hosts - super friendly, attentive and helpfull.

- Spacious apartment; both the room and lounge area - Excellent location, very close to restaurants and cafes, but still seemed like a quiet area and a 10min walk from the main bus station. - Daniele was very helpful in providing bus directions for the beach and Port. Also provided many recommendations for beach exploring, restaurants and stored my bags. A wonderful/ kind host.
